Yesterday, while I “surfed” the Internet, I came across a site called YouTube. The website was filled with videos of sin, sin and sin – scantilly dressed junior high school students gyrating provocatively against all manner of people and objects, young homosexuals soliciting sex, college students taking drugs, “rock” videos, Pokemon and that horrible Stephen Colbert man. It’s not surprising that Al Gore invented this cesspool. A wave of despair washed over me. No wonder poor Mark Foley found himself lost and unanchored.

I spent hours watching video after video after video, clicking the “flag as inappropriate” until I thought my finger would fall off. “Please, Jesus,” I prayed, “send me a little island of respite in this sea of sin!” And, as I live my life in accordance to God’s principles, Jesus did just that. He led me to a man whose name originally put me off – jezuzfreek777. “This must be another one of these liberal that make fun of God,” I thought. “The man can’t even spell properly!” But I’m glad I put those thoughts aside because the first video I watch “Vote Democrat and Die” brought a patriotic thrill to my heart that I had not felt since I first heard our own Billy Bob Neck.

Patriotic Christain video? I knew about video on the Internet. I had assumed that it was all pornographic. But, as they said in that delightful “The Odd Couple” episode – When you ASSUME, you make an ASS of U and ME! :-)

I immediately sent Mr. Neck an email asking him to make a video for Shelley The Republican. He wrote back to say that he really didn’t know how to do it. No matter, I wrote him back, figure it out and get it done. He wrote back, as I knew he would, “Yes, Ma’am!”

So, it is my pleasure to bring to you Mr. Billy Bob Neck with a new series. As he already does a wonderful job with Briefly Patriotic, we thought that, since we’ll try doing it weekly, we’ll call it Weekly Patriotic. As always, if anyone has any serious suggestions for other names, please let me know.

I will include jezuzfreek777s video, as well as Mr. Neck’s.
