Open for Business – The new Gulf Coast
“Nearly two weeks after BP finally capped the biggest oil spill in U.S. history, the oil slicks that once spread across thousands of miles of the Gulf of Mexico have disappeared.”
Yahoo News
Ok, it took a couple of weeks but all good things do, I guess. BP promised us that they would repair all the damage and they did. Liberals have been claiming that the oil spill would “destroy” the gulf and that it would take a “lifetime” to clean up and once again the reality just bites those alarmists in the ass.
Sure, I much rather the accident would not have happened in the first place but it was not even BP`s fault! Obamas hardcore leftist environmental laws forces BP to drill where they did. We should be thanking them for providing us with high grade oil. From a moral standpoint they would not have been obligated to clean up anything, because it was not their fault but they did it anyway. They literally spent millions of dollars of their own hard earned money to hire millions of cleanup workers without raising the prices of the oil and they did a great job.
Experts confirm that the Gulf of Mexico is better off new then it was before the oil spill. Obama should apologize to BP for his harsh words and his rude comments. Obama should cower in shame for his inability to deal with this crises. If BP wouldn’t have stepped up and took charge the gulf and the lives of millions of Americans would be in dire danger. Shame on you, Mr. President!

Imam Hussein Obama going after BP is just another example of the muzlimz hatred for free, GOdfearing, American enterprise.
Hi – This photo above shows an island in French Polynesia (this is not the Gulf Coast) because this species of palmtree (what we can see on this photo) only grows in the tropical pacific and not at the US Gulf Coast – and the small green mountains behind show us, this is an island in Polynesia. Your Gulf Coast palms look different. Work with true facts please! (If you would be a bit educated in biology, you would realize, these are coconut palmtrees and you don`t have coconut palms in the USA, only in the Caribbean, S-America, topical Pacific and Indian Ocean. The Gulf Coast isn`t tropical, it is sub-tropical.)
However – we all know, many people and many companies all over the globe distroy the nature. Right now we are nearby 8 billion people on earth. Do you really know what that means?
All over the globe we can find dirty beaches and clean beaches as well. I am scuba diver and I visited many tropical countries, beaches and coral reefs all over the globe. I have seen dirty beaches (with oil remains) in the Mediterranean, Atlantic Ocean, Indian Ocean, Philippines, Thailand….and so on. We have a lot of beaches and coral reefs, which are covered with oil remains. This is a fact, I have seen that. If you would travel, you would see that too. Photos of travel agancies show just clean beaches – of course.
Or look to Russia for example – or to China or to India. They destroyed their nature total. My cousine from S-TX told me, some parts of the Gulf Coast are still dirty, some are ok. Ask some of these shrimp fishers or hotel owners in southern Lousinana or Alabama. They will tell you an other story.

Hi – some weeks ago I received an e-mail from my US friend Dawn (Lousinana) she wrote that letter to me:
“Thank you for forwarding. It really makes you sick to see these. I was home recently in East Texas (near the Louisiana border) and the families there are palpably disconcerted regarding the end of their family fishing businesses etc. They have really had a rough time of it. Thanks for passing this on.”
This woman lives near the Gulf Coast – she is nurse and worked in Thailand for a couple of months. She came back, she decided to spend some days at the Gulf Coast for relaxing – but she found oily beaches and the sea was oily too.
Mary from S-Texas told me nearby the same.
We all know, not the whole coast is covered with oil, but a lot of coast areas are still dirty.

You know how you put hair oil in your hair, and that makes it look better? I bet that’s what’s happened with the beaches. Oil on the beach = beach grooming. I just don’t know what all the commie rage was about. It makes me laugh.
“If BP wouldn’t have stepped up and took charge the gulf and the lives of millions of Americans would be in dire danger.”
Really? because in another article about the oil spill you said:
“it’s nothing to worry about at all.”
Care to explain?
Hi – the Gulf Coast and the sea will be clean in some years. The Mediterranean or the Atlantic Ocean at the European westcoast is pretty dirty with oil remains. I still remember to the Exxon Valdez disaster in southern Alaska over 20 years ago. Now all the coast areas are clean, but it was a lot of work. I think, Bush sen. was president, as the Exxon Valdez accident happend. I am convinced, you didn`t blamed him for that. The real reason is, you dislike Obama.
Ok, it is your opinion. I don`t think, he will win the second election.
But if you look to the history of the States, you will read, some years you had a republican president, some years a democrat. It is not so important, what kind of president you have – much more important is the political and economic situation on earth right now. All presidents, leaders or kings can`t do what they really want to do. You remember to the Cold War, maybe you are too young? I still remember to Kennedy, Johnson, Nixon, Ford, Carter, Reagan, Bush, Clinton, W.Bush and now Obama – they just did their job. Everyone of them worked hard. I think, after Obama you will get a republican president again and this is democracy.
I was born in the 50ies and I was in school as the Vietnam War began, this was Johnson`s idea. 1968 as Nixon became president, I still remember to his first speech – he said. “…I promise you, the war in Nam will end soon and our boys will be back as soon as possible…..”.
It was 1968 and the war ended in April 1975. Over 58.000 soldieres, nurses and reporters died in Vietnam. (and over 3 million Vietnamese). The US won every single battle in the rainforests – but they lost the political war (you know we had the Cold War, Soviets against USA). The Soviets and China supported the communistic North Vietnam. If the US would nuked N-Vietnam, we would had the 3rd Worldwar. USA-Europe against the Sovietunion-China…..Nixon ordered 1973, all troops had to leave Vietnam and they closed the US Embassy in Saigon at the end of April 1975. I still remember, I turned on my TV and watched the news. The Vietnam war is history……
The US Army won every single battle, this is a fact – but the communists won in political sense, this is much more important. The Vietcongs reunited Vietnam – but under communistic rule. Many people in the west were disappointed.
And I remember to the Iran diaster 1979 – the people in the west believed, the USA will attack Iran. Nothing happend – the USA supported Iraq, it was the Iraq-Iran war in the early 80ies. As Iran became a Mullah state – the islamic movement against the west began. Even R.Reagan had no idea, but he had other things in his mind, the Soviet Union and their weapons against West Europe and the USA. At the end of the Cold War Bush sen. decided to fight against Hussain, cause Kuwait. It was the first Gulf or Iraq War.
If you would ask me, what kind of president I prefer. I don`t know. But I know, we have to watch the islamic movements in the Middle East, I believe, they are dangerous!
It is a hard to understand, why they hate the Christians. A couple of times I was in the Middle East and was talking to different people. It is actually true, some of these muslims would like to attack us. The big questions is “Why”….some say it is written in the Koran, some say it is the fundamentalistic movement (the preachers), some say it is Palestine problem. I don`t know.
I was in Egypt some years ago. I was in a small village near the Red Sea and looked for a newspaper and a cup of coffee – I opened a shop, a young arabic guy (with with a white dress and turban) said: Hello Mister…what do you need…….but Osama bin Laden is very good! Allah akhbar!…he is very good, he is Robin Hood for islamic people………
I said ok ok, but I am looking for coffee and newspaper – and finally I got it. His English was poor – I cannot explain, why Bin Laden is a terrorist and he couldn`t understand my opinion.
The Arabs and Egypts asked me, are you an American – I said no, I am from Austria, Europe. They said, that`s good for you, because we kill every American and his body disappears in the desert.
However – the presidents are just humans and every president tries to work hard. But you are right, Bill Clinton and Kennedy were womanizers. (the whole world was laughing about Levinsky and M.Monroe). If you ask me, I think, Obama is harmless. Look to the world, they like him. This is the best – he is a good publicity. It is good for the States.
Just some years later you will get a republican president again…this is the history of the USA!
Peter Vienna
Obama and his minions would’ve had us riding in horse and buggies when the oil was being cleaned and before it dispersed. They would have also killed an important job creating company!
Thank you for the blog fodder. This should be fun!
Peter August, I’m surprised at you. I expect lots of places on the gulf coast have imported palm trees, like in a botanical garden especially for the tourists, and those things you call mountains in the background are just some mounds of oily sand that BP went to great trouble and expense to revegetate. I don’t know whether you live in a free country or not, but if you do, you ought to thank your lucky stars!
Oh. And Peter, if you Don’t live in a free country, then you ought to be ashamed of yourself for spreading your pernicious propaganda about lovely Gulf Coast Beaches.
When I read this I had to double check to see if I wasn’t reading an article from the Onion.
Hey, um…is there seriously no article on the Mousqe thing yet? Also no 9/11 dedication thing? You sicken me STR!
Muahahaha, very good! Comedy at it’s best. You’re the kings of parody and satire. I’m sure no one can top this…
Hi Al feragape! – What I mean is, this photo shows an island anywhere in Polynesia (Southern Pacific). By the way, I have a cousine in Beeville, South TX and I visit her from time to time. I love the landscape at the US Gulf coast, especially south of Corpus Christ – it is great place for summer vacation. Sometimes we went fishing, boating or sometimes we found some interesting seashells. The landscape is great in S-TX and southern Louisiana.
But what I want to say is, this photo was taken anywhere in Polynesia. I know the landscape of these islands. Once I spent my diving vacations at the Cook islands and some years later on Western Samoa – just for scuba diving.
Of course, at the Gulf Coast are a lot of palmtrees, I still have some photos. But this palmtree on the photo above, this kind of palmtree grows in Polynesia only.
Since the early 70ies I like to travel – I growed up in a free country and I still live in a free country. I love scuba diving and travelling. My job is graphic designer and I live with my wife in Vienna Austria right now. Our boys, Michael and Daniel are nearby 30 years. Ok – I am not a communist or something else.
I have to sign off!
Peter Vienna
your blog is a cult.I try to get my friends to believe in Jesus and when they google it, they see you. just stop.Obama is not a bad guy, he hasnt done anything bad, besides giving money to banks and big 3, but everyone expected it anyway. The Bush family is bad.You rag on obama every chance you get, but you think every republican is a god.Is it smart to start 2 pointless wars and cut taxes on the rich? no.i could go on about bushs failures, like the no child left behind etc etc, but thats flaming.
live long and prosper \\//,

YOU FUCKING LIAR
you submit photo from french polynesia as PROOF that the gulf beaches are clean?
you are the lowest form of life making money telling LIES on behalf of tobacco and oil companies
BURN IN HELL BITCH
Dear Far Qubich,
Like so many unsophisticted folk, you do not appreciate the difference between proof and evidence.
Unlike Peter from Vienna, who wrote on September 21 at 2:28 PM, you prefer namecalling to presenting your own evidence.
Unlike me, you seem to have no sense of satire. My suggestion: Read Gullivers Travels and Candide, and maybe Terry Southern’s “The Magic Christian”. Then come back and say something sensible.
This site is a walking contradiction.
You state in other places that you hate the British and the Iranians and every county that came out of Ancient Persia.
Yet BP (British petroleum) used to be the Anglo-Iranian and the Anglo-Persian oil company.
You do also state that you hate black people. But you still run an article that divides your view points and contradicts yourself. If you had to pick a side, why do you bash your own country instead of some one else’s?
Because that then contradicts the ‘America’s better than everyone else’ view point you all seem to have.
So the only reason I can concluded is that you are all a bunch of racist, fascist and will suffer the same persecution you threaten on others.
Naa, if it wouldn’t be satire like “the onion news” I wouldn’t read it. It’s they’re way of getting public attention.
