Child Labor
Made in China used to mean something but recently I become more and more concerned about the apparent lack of quality due to the fact that more and more children are employed to produce cheap stuff for us. There should be a way of rewarding or punishing children overseas depending on if we are happy or unhappy with the product they made for us. By God, we are paying customers and we do have some God-given rights as such.
Some say it’s wrong to let children work, but I say we don’t have the right to criticize nations that rely on the fruits of child labor. After all: Children need to eat, too. I much rather have child labor than child poverty.
When I was a young girl of 16 years I had a newspaper route and nobody was crying for me, so what is the big deal now? Fact is that most children today are just plain spoiled.
I also have a hard time to see what is wrong with child prostitution over there in them 3rd world countries. It’s not my cup of tea and if my daughter ever decides to open her legs for money I wolf beat her to death, but let’s face it: Foreign girls are sluts anyway and his might be the only way they can make a living. Who are we to say they are not allowed? If they choose that Career path, obviously they are old enough to do it. Jesus don’t like it but they are going to he’ll anyway, so I don’t care.

Teenagers such as myself can work, but I agree that kids need to eat, but I rather have my childern play Video Games in slight poverty.

Great idea: Children are an under-utilized sector of our workforce. At times like these when our pensions are at stake can we afford to have these kids lollygagging about?

Two words: Sweat. Shops.
Your American Sweatshops give only minimal wage (in that time) to those childern and that they worked under bad working conditions.
There is lots of ways you can have kids pull there wight. Both at your home and at your neighbors. If you have a cute daughter there she can do some modeling work StripandGrowRich.com. You can also do some advertising for kids who will do whatever the customer wants.
The best part is that you dont need to pay them. They can just see it as an exercise in doing what papa says.

This article has certainly changed my viewpoint on things. After reading this, I remembered what you had said and discreetly reminded a mother and her baby that this young child was on the way to hell if she didn’t get her lazy ass out of that stroller and start working. Getting children too work is not that bad, ure maybe load the dishwasher, mow the lawn, clean the lawn etc. However child LABOUR is another thing. Children are paid minimum (Or less) wage and work for hours on end. Sure they get some money, but maybe you’ve heard of CHILDRENS RIGHTS. I used to work in a sweatshop in Taiwan. I accidentally sewed my hand to a sneaker, and they shipped me out with it.
