Wow. Thats one of the most backward things I’ve heard in a long, long time. What about all the Catholic priests (e.g. in Ireland) who molested/raped hundreds of young altar boys? They were CHRISTIAN and PAEDOPHILES. Something ive noticed lately is that an awful lot of ‘devout Christians’ are also horrible scumbags with dark secrets…. Just an observation. Maybe next time don’t put so much trust into religious authority.

And who are you to judge that God spoke to anyone? I’ve known many members of the LDS over the years, asked lots of questions, and read lots of material, both pro and con. And from all that, I formed my opinions.

But if you don’t want me to “believe what others tell” me, I’ll take your advice, starting with you.

Chuck- Um I have and who are who to judge? Not my problem if you don’t believe God can choose to speak to whom he wants to. Go to an LDS church and stick around a bit and ask questions. Don’t believe what others tell you, go to the source.

Beck makes his millions defaming others with lies and innuendo. Check his biography. The guy came up through the ranks via Morning Zoo shock-talk radio, where being outrageous, crude, rude and dishonest is encouraged and rewarded. And the Mormon “religion” was founded by a guy who also began his career as a con-man, and discovered “the word” by looking into a hat.

Beck and the LDS are a perfect match.

Stumbled upon this write up of Glenn Beck, whom I watched on CNN many, many times, and I just need to make one correction. I dont know Glenn Beck personally and this is not an “attack,” only pointing out one FACT.

Mormon’s are NOT Christians, hence Glenn Beck is not a Christian.

Now I havn’t had much time to follow recent headlines, so if Glenn Beck has converted to Christianity please accept my humble apologies.
