Oh that was quite a funny satire of some of the retarded conservative hardcore Christians. Obviously slavery didn’t exist because all those damn liberals made it up! They’re so good at faking abuse and books about the evils of slavery. The South never needed to discuss the necessity of slavery to keep the white man superior and the black man could be educated just by being around the whites. Brooks didn’t even have to beat Sumner because we never had slavery! This is quite good satire.

You must be Glenn Beck’s and Sarah Palin’s cousin. It is really sad that actually have such ignorance in our mist. Did slavery exist – yes? I lived through the remnants of slavery on a farm in North Carolina with my grandfather, who was still a sharecropper living on master’s plantation and keeping up the fields with hoes and horses for almost nothing…… but to live on the plantation. I am not a liberal but a person who lives her life walking in the light. It is really sad that a mind can be ate-up with hate to the point that truth is questioned. Prejudice and ignorance is behind all the false comments about our president. If he could not be beat in the last election, everyone who did not vote for him is trying double hard to make sure that they turn those who did vote for him away. God is still in control I do know that for sure. No weapon formed against the good shall proper regardless of who wants what….that’s why he is now president. Just grit your teeth another three years, you will be alright…..

slavery is a historical fact, not an opinion.
while that picture you have up there may be drawn and photocopied onto a computer, there are many REAL pictures of slavery.

after reading the general majority of the blogs on this site, i really can’t help but to think this is all a joke. and if it’s not, i’m surprised that this infamous ‘shelley’ hasn’t been assassinated yet. actually saying assassinated would be compliment, because that would imply that you have some importance in this world, and you most certainly do not.

Good day Jimmy – well, slave trading was and still is an international problem. This has nothing to do with liberals or democrats – this business is much much older.
The first slave dealers were the Arabs – and they are still slave dealers. Some Arabs still catch black children or young black people in Sudan and sell it to different people all over the globe, who needs cheap workers. (mostly to SE Asia)
The troubles with slave trading is a historical fact. 300 years ago the story with the slavery in America began. Many states like Spain, Britan, Portugal, France were big slave dealers. One of the first slave dealers were the Arabs – they catched black people in Central Africa and took them the westcoast of Africa. They sold their black people to white dealers and they put them in slavery camps. After some weeks they sent them to America by ship.
Thousends of historical facts tell us this part of history. Many nations were involved in slave trading – till today.
Slave trading was and still is a very good business. The big farmers in the Southern States needed cheap workers on their cottonfields – this is a fact. Since Abraham Lincoln slavery is officially forbidden in the States. But we have many nations all over the globe, where slavery and slave trading is accepted even by the authorities, like in Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Thailand, Indonesia……
This has nothing to do with liberal ideas – this is just history – we have thousends of books and papers, where we can read about this part of history.
