We’ll miss you, George!
You either love him or you hate him but there is no questions, George W. Bush, or “The Leader” as we like to call him, was one of the best, if not the best president America ever had.
I will miss you so much dear Leader and we at ShelleyTheRepublican urge you to run for office in 2012.
So long my friend,
Shelley

George W. Bush is the worst President our country ever had.
George H. W. Bush did a pretty good job, though.
the guys a fuck up…
George w bush, utter and complete moron of a president,
THE worse thing that has ever happend to America and the middle east, I dont know how he ever got re-elected,i mean someone who cant even push out the most simple of sentances should never be qualified to rule the biggest power in the world. I look forward to Obama’s presidency, maybe he will actually turn your shithole of a country around,
Oh by the way, i have a little message from god regarding all homosexuals,,, it reads.- I DONT HATE YOU
Jesus was dark skinned , thats even if he existed.
And im absolutely sure if God were to look down on his creation, he would swiftly put a gun to his head.
This website makes me feel sick, and everyone jacks off, it takes a sinner to denie it, not to perform it,
You guys are all lying to yourselves,
Il leave this statement with one final fact.
When you die, and you see that light of the tunnel before you, you know whats behind that light, its not god, its me,and im gonna kick your ponsy soul all the way back down the tunnel untill you choke on your own fucked up ribs, now wake the FACK up.
Talking about Bush, last week I saw an interview with one of Holland’s top economists, now working at the World Bank. In the past several years he has had some contact with Bush and the Dutch government as well.
When asked about what he thought of Bush’s Presidency when looking back, he said something which summarizes Bush in a good way:
“You know, there have been few Presidents with so much aspirations as Bush (faith-based initiatives, military dominance, war vs terror, war vs drugs, etc.). But when looking at Bush it seems that EVERYTHING he wanted to achieve, turned out exactly the opposite way.”
For me, that is a perfect description of the immense clusterfuck that is the Bush administration. Look at it:
- The USA has TRIPLED its national debt during Bush’ terms, now over a whopping 10 trillion dollars.
- The unjustified war in Iraq costs the USA almost as much money as the second World War.
Conclusion: Financial policies: Failed.
- Terrorists are more alive than ever, with the USA trapped in a senseless war in Iraq (Vietnam v2.0), diverting the attention from Afghanistan.
- Bush has screwed up the USA’s standing in the world, mainly by the arrogant war in Iraq. Besides that he has infuriated the rest of the world by not listening to any advices or goodwill, and has practically isolated the USA.
Conclusion: Foreign policies: Failed.
- The war vs drugs is a complete and utter failure. The imprisonments for drug use are staggeringly high, massively overcrowding US prisions, taking away space to lock up real criminals. Meanwhile, drug use has not been reduced.
Conclusion: Drug policies: Failed.
- Despite the stable economic situation in which the Clinton administration left office, the USA is now in a deep crisis. This crisis is caused mainly by the massive deregulation Bush has implemented regarding the financial markets. He even reversed most regulations that Clinton had installed to prevent such a crisis as we see now.
- Unemployment has skyrocketed when compared to the Clinton era (http://www.delawareliberal.net/wp-content/uploads/2008/12/unemployment.png). Interestingly, Bush Sr. seems to have fucked up just like his son.
Conclusion: Economic policies: Failed.
There is no doubt in my mind that Bush will permanently occupy a spot in at least the top 5 of Worst Presidents Ever, with a good chance he’ll be at the very bottom. If I had to name one positive remark about the Bush era, it’d be that he increased spending to battle Hiv/AIDS dramatically.
That’s about it, though.
He simply is one of the worse. Ever.

“and we at ShelleyTheRepublican urge you to run for office in 2012.”
Guys, isn’t the world going to END on 1/20/09?
I neither love nor hate him. I merely believe that he was one of the worst representatives our country has ever elected to sit in the White House. A complete moron, god only knows how he ever graduated college. He should have really stuck with his idea when he said “I love the idea of a school in which people come to get educated and stay in the same state in which they were educated”.
As I read further into the posts on this site I notice a few things; the majority of the original posters would see nothing wrong with many of Bush’s statements (i.e. “One of the great things about books is sometimes there are some fantastic pictures”). They would also be able to relate to him when he says things like “Do you have Blacks, too” when meeting with the Brazilian President. I’ve also noticed a parallel between the far right wingers and Islamic extremists and that is what scares me the most.
This country was founded with the notion that all people would be free from persecution and they would have the right to “life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness”. Nowhere does the constitution provide any clauses that would enable any one group to decide which citizens are or are not protected by these rights (although a clause should have been thrown in that would require a basic intelligence test for those seeking to become President). The Founding Fathers thought separation of church and state so important that it was included in the first amendment to the constitution. That amendment also “prohibits the establishment of a national religion by the Congress or the preference of one religion over another, or religion over non-religion.” When I listen to many of the right wingers on TV and radio or read many of the posts on this site I feel that is the way that many would like this coutry to head. If you are one of those that welcome a national religion then Iran is just for you, please don’t let the door hit you on your way out!!
P.S. I am very offended (as should every servicemember, retired or active, US or any other country) by the picture of G.W. saluting with his dog in his arms. The salute is a sign of respect delivered between members of the military and as such should be delivered with the utmost respect. If your hands are not free DO NOT salute.
Phil,
this is just plain stupid.
What is better: Trying to salute or just stand there and not do anything? Imagine you come up to the dear Leader and salute Him and He is holding his dog in His arms and you salute Him and He is just doing nothing as if you were not there… OR you would come up to Him and He would do what He did and give His best to salute you?
You are a moron as many of your soldier buddies. You just “serve” in the military because you didn’t get a real job! So just SHUT UP and follow orders!!!
Shelley
Shelly,
Your ignorance does not cease to amaze me. First off, salutes are not required while your hands are full rather an appropriate verbal greeting would be in order. Second, his “best” isn’t good enough! It might be for all of his country club buddies but not for those who “just serve”.
“You are a moron as many of your soldier buddies. You just “serve” in the military because you didn’t get a real job! So just SHUT UP and follow orders!!!”
You’re kidding right? How could anyone that lives in this great country regardless of thier political views, make such an idiotic statement. Perhaps you would like to remove your white hood before dictating your next response to your manservant.
I also find it funny that you only rebuked my comments on G.W.’s breach of military protocol. I guess that the rest of my post must ring true with you.
i agree with shelley, you suck phil
Phil,
Don’t bother, Phil. It’s classic Shelley: No matter how many rational arguments you sling at her, she will only answer the obviously trivial parts of your posts.
Offcourse that is because everything else most people say here can’t be countered by Shelley. Your post for example is very true and she knows it. But instead of accepting her loss and apologising, she starts to insult you.
And the most appaling thing is that she actually thinks she’s acting like a Christian by insulting and condemning everyone who doesn’t agree with her extremist views…
Greetings from liberal Holland,
Thomas van der Meer
Shelley,
The Bible disagrees with you:
– John 7 : 24
And since you have no rational reason to insult Phil or his buddies, you have sinned against the Bible.
Have a nice day and greetings from liberal Holland,
Thomas van der Meer
good riddance bush. you won’t be missed.
I have mixed feelings about Bush. It was fun to attack him all the time but then again, he was dumb as a rock and our President which was almost painful.
Good riddance.
The German Guy
16 days and counting!
By the way, while Bush was the worst president in recent memory, if not ever (which is likely), there are two things that he’s done that were good. That marine refuge off Hawaii, and the Do Not Call registry. Can anyone think of anymore? I can’t.
I only have high regards for President G.W. Bush who kept us safe for seven years. Wake up everyone with the false sense of security with your new “President.”
Jezebel
Love ya George Bush!!
He didn’t keep America safe. He just waited for some provocation so he’d have an excuse to go to war and secure our dwindling oil supply, all the while stepping up ‘security’ with needless garbage.
the only person in the world that has a chance to beat Bush at a stupidity contests would be Palin, let the stupid games begin!
Socialist Spaghetti, how right you are. Sarah Palin is high off her ass if she thinks she’ll ever be president.
Wait, wait, WAIT. Shelley, you urge President Bush to run in 2012? THAT is HILARIOUS. Guys, she doesn’t even know how the U.S. presidency works. How adorable. She should probably read a book or two… or a hundred. I believe the only book she has ever read is “Everybody Poops”, which is also apparently where she learned about politics, American history, people skills, and life.
