Besides: “Back a Winner this November” Now that´d be Obama, given that McCain has already shown himself to be not a winner. Getting a SAM up your ass and running from the country as fast as possible doesn´t make you a winner.

Hi – This Obama photo is well known since months, the whole world had seen this pic. But I know some McCain photos as well, where you can see him in a very bad and seedy look. These are propaganda photos only, sometimes created by photoshop. I have found a lot of funny photos of Clinton, Reagan, Bush and so on….all these images have nothing to do with reality.
However – my biggest problem with you sometimes is, if you say, “God does not want…..!” If the Pope or the Curie in the Vatikan would say: This is the meaning of God, we have to follow it…! Ok, I can accept that (or not), cause this is definitely their job!
But you think you are always right in the name of God – this is very priggish! If you would study theology for a couple of years – ok, I would accept your meaning too.
Ok, I can try to understand the 300 years old Bible groups and traditions in the States – originally these Christian groups appeared in Europe during the 16th and 17th century. The inquisitors of the Rom.Cath.Church hunted these people, therefore they had to flee – to Britan, former Prussia or to the new British colony in North America.
The first settlers and pioneers had a very hard life – many of them found their needful power and optimism in the Bible and in Christian communities. After many decades in the young States, their Bible interpretations became strange, hard to understand for normal foreign Christians nowadays.
I agree, if you would say, the Rom.Cath.Church made a lot of big mistakes in the past. This was the main reason, why Martin Luther was successful with his Reformation. All over Europe new Christian communities appeared, who criticized the rich and decadent life of the Popes and other Cath. Christian clerics. The goal of these new Bible groups was a Godfearing life and to believe in every single word of the Bible…this was their way of truth.
In the States some of you still believe, the earth is a flat disc – 6000 years old and is located in the center of the universe.
Maybe you have heared something about the Dead Sea Scrolls – these scripts are exactly 2000 years old, written in the ancient Roman province Judea (Holy Land). Jewish sects hided it in the desert, in caves. 1947 a young Arab found the first scrolls, which were written in an old Hebrew dialect. As the first international theologians saw it, they were fascinated, because these are the oldest known Bible scripts. Without translation errors or other clerical censorships. Also American theologians began to study and translated these ancient Bible scripts in the States.
Now it is proofed – the original Bible scripts are in some ways different to our Bible of today.
After 2000 years a lot of clerics and monks translated the Bible many times – and everytime they made a lot of translation- and clerical errors.
That means, the Bible is our Holy Book, of course, but it would be bigoted to believe in every single word or saying, because there are too much mistakes. The Bible was written by humans only (kings, clerics and monks made a lot of censorship in the past). Therefore – our latest Bible translations – if it is the English version, Italian version, German version or Russian version and so on, it has nothing to do with the real Bible text.
You believe much more in zeitgeist and patriotism, as in the real Bible. You mix zeitgeist with the American Bible version. This has definitely nothing to do with the real words of God.
Still important for us Christians are the Ten Commandments, the Sermon on the Mount…these wellknown parts of the Bible are important and an ethical guideline. But to believe, I know what God wants, likes and so on, cause we can read that in the Bible!….this is a bit too conceited!
Most arrogant is, if you say, “God told me!”
You can say for instant, I think, what God likes or what is in God`s mind!” But to be sure, what God wants, this is arrogant. This is definitely a sin in the eyes of God. Don`t forget, I passed a convent school in my childhood and I still remember to the Bible.
