Hi – yes, I know this song and different musicans played it. The first time I have listened to this song 2 years ago. Just US Americans played it. I think, this song is an association to this movie “Gay Cowboy”, which was also produced in the States 3 years ago. Don`t worry – all these productions come from the States.
