* One study reports that the average homosexual has between 20 and 106 partners per year (6). The average heterosexual has 8 partners in a lifetime

* Part of the homosexual agenda is to get the public to affirm their filthy lifestyle, as one homosexual admitted in the October 1987 homosexual rally on Washington: “We are no longer seeking just a right to privacy and a protection from wrong. * Part of the homosexual agenda is to turn people from Christianity: “The teaching that only male-female sexual activity within the bounds and constraints of marriage is the only acceptable form should be reason enough for any homosexual to denounce the Christian religion” (1)
* Homosexuals knowingly lied (and still lie) about the 10% figure (i.e., homosexuals make up 10% of the population). As Tom Stoddard (formerly of the Lambda Legal Defense Fund) said, “We used that figure when most gay people were entirely hidden to try to create an impression of our numerousness” (17).
* The Kinsey study of 1948, which homosexuals often cite to say that 10% of the population is homosexual, actually says that only 4% of the population is EXCLUSIVELY homosexual. This study involved a disproportionate number of people who had been in jail for sex crimes (hardly a random sample of the population). * The average yearly income of a homosexual is $55,430.00 (most of which is disposable because no children to take care of!). The average of the general population is $32,144.00. The average of blacks is $12,166.00 (24)
* 59.6% of homosexuals are college graduates. 18.0% of the general population are college graduates (24). Too bad they aren’t smart enough to listen to God. “Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools” (Romans 1:22)
* 49.0% of homosexuals hold professional/managerial positions. 15.9% of the general population hold such positions (24). Where’s the job discrimination?
• A phrase that has come up recently in this earth is “sexual orientation.” This is a phrase made up by homosexuals to try to make themselves look less filthy than they really are. The purpose of the phrase is to take the spotlight from what these perverts do, and put it on the notion that they are just poor, mistreated people, who simply are attracted to members of the same sex – as if they aren’t engaging in activity forbidden by God Almighty. “Sexual orientation,” as used today, has nothing to do with sexual activity (yeah, right), but only refers to who or what a particular person is attracted to. If you think that people of other “sexual orientations” are just fine, let’s see what other “sexual orientations” you would necessarily have to accept as wholesome and pure. If you’re not going to discriminate based on “sexual orientation”, then you must not discriminate against any of the following. Bestiality, pedophile, necrophilia., exhibitionism, fetishism, frotteurism, masochism, sadism, transvestitism, voyeurism. If you discriminate against any of these, you’re a hypocrite. These “sexual orientations” are generally known as “paraphilias”, and are mental disorders – just like homosexuality used to be (29).

This same kind of biblical ignorance is all too present around the topic of homosexuality. Often people who love and trust God’s Word have never given careful and prayerful attention to what the Bible does or doesn’t say about homosexuality.
For example, many Christians don’t know that:
Jesus says nothing about same-sex behavior.
The Jewish prophets are silent about homosexuality.
Only six or seven of the Bible’s one million verses refer to same-sex behavior in any way — and none of these verses refer to homosexual orientation as it’s understood today.
Most people who are certain they know what the Bible says about homosexuality don’t know where the verses that reference same-sex behavior can be found. They haven’t read them, let alone studied them carefully. They don’t know the original meaning of the words in Hebrew or Greek. And they haven’t tried to understand the historical context in which those words were written. Yet the assumption that the Bible condemns homosexuality is passed down from generation to generation with very little personal study or research. The consequences of this misinformation are disastrous, not only for God’s gay and lesbian children, but for the entire church.
The Bible is the story of God’s love for the world and the people of the world. It tells the history of God’s love at work rescuing, renewing, and empowering humankind. It was never intended to be a book about human sexuality. Certainly, you will agree.
In fact, the Bible accepts sexual practices that we condemn and condemns sexual practices that we accept. Lots of them! Here are a few examples.
DEUTERONOMY 22:13-21
If it is discovered that a bride is not a virgin, the Bible demands that she be executed by stoning immediately.
DEUTERONOMY 22:22
If a married person has sex with someone else’s husband or wife, the Bible commands that both adulterers be stoned to death.
MARK 10:1-12
Divorce is strictly forbidden in both Testaments, as is remarriage of anyone who has been divorced.
LEVITICUS 18:19
The Bible forbids a married couple from having sexual intercourse during a woman’s period. If they disobey, both shall be executed.
MARK 12:18-27
If a man dies childless, his widow is ordered by biblical law to have intercourse with each of his brothers in turn until she bears her deceased husband a male heir.
DEUTERONOMY 25:11-12
If a man gets into a fight with another man and his wife seeks to rescue her husband by grabbing the enemy’s genitals, her hand shall be cut off and no pity shall be shown her.
I’m certain you don’t agree with these teachings from the Bible about sex. And you shouldn’t. The list goes on: The Bible says clearly that sex with a prostitute is acceptable for the husband but not for the wife. Polygamy (more than one wife) is acceptable, as is a king’s having many concubines. (Solomon, the wisest king of all, had 1,000 concubines.) Slavery and sex with slaves, marriage of girls aged 11-13, and treatment of women as property are all accepted practices in the Scriptures. On the other hand, there are strict prohibitions against interracial marriage, birth control, discussing or even naming a sexual organ, and seeing one’s parents nude.
Allow me to answer the question in the title, would I kiss a homosexual? Maybe. It depends on if I love the person or not. This is what this entire argument is about, whither or not a person loves another. You have to stop seeing this in a black and white situation, there is no male and female, there is just humans and love. Don’t see it as two men or two women in love, see it as two people in love. My way of thinking makes it perfectly acceptable. The reason Liviticus says anything about homosexuality being a sin is totally political. When Livicticus was written, there was a very dominate power that Christianity was struggling against, Rome. Rome was a pagan state and was known for homosexuality. The Christian movement was trying to pull converts away by directly contradicting the Roman behavior.

Being Gay is not a mental illness because there is nothing wrong with us; however it has recently been scientifically proven it starts in the womb. A Century ago it African Americans were slaves; decades ago women were to stay in the kitchen, the church was okay with the way things were. People had to fight for their rights. With that being said, this was nothing against anyone who is gay, or anyone who would post untrue statistics about the gay community. This was a topic I just came across randomly. God IS a loving God as someone mentioned before. He loves us all equally and unconditionally and hates all sins equally. No one of us is greater than the other and and neither is any sin greater than another. We are in no position to judge one another. Hopefully I’ve been some help in one way or another.

You have demonstrated some qualities which I find to be the complete opposite of admirable, in fact I find them embarrassing. I am sure you never considered the obvious fact that STD’s can be picked up by ANYONE! Because I assure you, the average homosexual does not have between 20 and 106 partners per year. Also, the average heterosexual does not have 8 partners in a lifetime. And many heterosexual sexual encounters occur while drunk, high on drugs, or in an orgy setting. Love how there’s no actual number or percentage for that one, just “many”. Very realistically damning.

Assuming this is true, I propose a hypothesis: the two characteristics demonstrate correlation, not causation. That is to say, though they may be directly related, one does not cause the other. Maybe it’s because the conservative groups who are supposedly in charge of the correct morals (Christians, according to you) completely ostracize homosexuals and try to sever all connections with them. If you want homosexuals to act more like you, maybe you shouldn’t attack them, tell them they’re going to burn in hell, and then expect them to follow the rest of your rules.
A serious question. How does homosexuality hurt God? And how does it hurt anyone else, for that matter?
There are so many different versions of the Christian Bible, not to mention Jewish versions. How can you be sure that your version, or any version, still represents the exact word of God? Many of the mentions of homosexuality are found in the Old Testament, which also has many other rules that aren’t followed any more, since most Christians choose to largely follow the New Testament, which is drastically different from the Old in more ways than this. As a nurse in an Instacare clinic, I have been witness of many more diseases in the heterosexual patient than the gay patient.
We get many more young girls and boys with Chlamydia, Gonorrhea, and Herpes than any other group of all the people seen in the clinic.
Many more of the above diseases in Heterosexual married men and women. They haven’t been with gays or lesbians.
