Hi, my Linux notebook is running since 1 week now, without any reboot, and this is a short time, my PC didn’t crash 1 single time in 5 Years of using Linux. This is what you call unstable…whatever

I’m not sure what you’re on about with DOS, i’m not even sure you know what it it is, but Microsoft stop using MS DOS on their operating systems since Windows 2000 due to it being too slow and error prone, Disk Operating Systems are old and no longer used. Linux uses a far better Operating System language and a file system that does not require de-fragmenting and most importantly cannot get viruses which cannot be said for it’s inferior competitor Vista.

I’m not sure if you don’t know what an OS is or you’re just plain retarded but Windows Vista is the most unstable OS Microsoft have ever created.
How can you compare pictures of windows vista to old versions of Linux and Mac, that’s just stupid, linux is incredibly stable unless you install a alpha or beta release and is much better looking than microsoft’s standard task bar layout

and i gotta admit, it is funny to watch get mad.
i would love to get a new HDD, but power is a bit tight, and i have more important things to upgrade on it, ive used a live cd before for an older version of it, i like it, it kept a familiar look to it, came with MFF, overall an awesome deal.

Turing was indeed a great man.
You should definitely get a new hard drive. Or you could also just try a live-CD. Or even use Wubi, included in the latest Ubuntu version (and maybe in some other distros), which allows you to install your whole Linux system on a Windows partition.
