Friendship and Atheist Deception

Friends,

Do you ever wonder where the idea of friendship actually came from? It’s the sort of thing I wonder about all the time. Did you know that before the time of Jesus, friendship did not even exist. There is no evidence of what you or I would call a friendship before the time of Christ.

Shelley’s Fact File: What Was life like before Jesus Christ? Life was cheap – and people were treated badly. WIthout Christ’s message, murder and rape were everyday occurances. Most children were murdered in their infancy. For more information, please listen to our podcast: The Hidden Benefits of Christianity

You might say, Jesus invented the whole concept: Consider the 12 disciples – a small group of men, drawn together for companionship and to do God’s work, but most of all to serve Jesus Christ. Isn’t that the very definition of friendship?

debauchery_061205_1.jpg

“Hey, lets go do some murders”, “Why not – after all, we are atheists, so what is stopping us”, “Yeah – murdering is cool” – This dialogue might seem outlandish to you, but not to an atheist, who lacking a moral compass has no particular objection to murder, or any other kind of criminal activity.

Before Jesus’ time, men would gather; there’s plenty of evidence of that: But with what purpose? Most likely to drink, brawl, brag about how many babies they had aborted and eventually sodomize each other. That is what counts as friendship amongst atheists, so what must we think of a man who calls himself “The Friendly Atheist“? Well it just so happens that we bumped into that self-publicizing enemy of STR.com, and every American: Hemant Mehta, a.k.a. the Friendly Atheist, but when he saw him and his rabble of godless cronies he was anything but friendly:

hemant.jpg

We circulated this warning poster to our congregation and corporate donors; I did not ever expect to see Mr Mehta again once we told him his godless writing was not welcome.

Monday saw the grand opening of our Creation Museum. I’m no boaster, but please believe me when I say that without ShelleyTheRepublican.com and our corporate sponsors this museum may never have been built. Shelley was the guest of honor; I guess it was their way of thanking all of us for our tireless fund-raising.As Shelley’s Hummer approached the museum, we could see that all was not right: A rabble of anti-science atheist protesters had gathered outside the museum in order to express their shrill anger that America’s God-given constitution permits people to hold opinions that differ with their own. It was there we saw Hemant, and a bunch of his cronies including Atheistic trouble-maker Nicole Smalowski (who’s misbehaviour we have previously reported on).

smalowski.jpg

I took this photo of evil atheist troublemaker Nicole Smalowski all by myself on my own camera; She wouldnt be grinning like this if she truly understood that her misdeeds are guaranteeing her a place in Hell.

Of course, as soon as we saw them Shelley correctly pointed out that our duty was to photograph their anti-freedom activism and ensure that the Department of homeland security is fully informed, but first we wanted to have our sport with these enemies of God. Jesus had told Shelley to expect this kind of trouble: She had prepared Dum Dum lollipops, each with a special message on the wrapper:

ddm_clear.jpg

If there is no God??
A believer loses nothing at death.
If there is a God??
An Atheist loses everything at death.
Who, then, is being a dum dum?

We handed them out to the rabble outside the museum, ensuring that every one of the atheists got one; When the atheists read God’s message on the wrapper they were struck utterly speechless: I’m sure one or two of them were converted by the words that Jesus told Shelley to write.

On the whole, Metha’s protest was weak and uninspired: He eventually swallowed his pride and joined the hundreds of families who were here to learn about God’s creation in the museum. I’m pretty sure that he was impressed by what we had built, and I wouldnt be surprised if he eventually comes round to our way of thinking: Heck, if Cindy Sheehan can repent, then so can a small-time Atheist like Mehta!

Yours in Christ,

Tristan J. Shuddery

PS, A warning about Mr Mehta: He’s recently written a book (Jesus does not want me to mention it’s title here), bragging that he sold his soul on eBay. Now there’s a few hate-crazed liberals who think that’s a pretty smart idea; but ever since then he’s been touring round Churches, disguising himself as a Christian and trying to make trouble by writing about them on his hate-filled blog. If you see him (and he’s kind of funny looking), the best thing for you to do is throw him out of your Church and tell him never to come back. That’s what we did when our Church security team identified him.

    Tristan,

this might very well be the most valuable article ever published on our website.

You have revealed the hidden benefits of Christianity. Without Christianity there are no Morals, there is no Decency, there is ultimately no Friendship.

God bless you for your outstanding thinking and writing.

And what about the Ten Commandments ?
Moses lived long before Jesus, so I assume that for you, the Ten Commandments (which are words of God) aren’t moral or decent since they were told to Moses long before Jesus was born and before Jesus, there were no Morals or Decency…

God must be very stupid, if he accepts people who just believe in him because of Pascal’s wager as true believers xD
Above message is but a reason to not believe in a God. Or, as Douglas Adams put it: “Some people think it’s wise to believe in God, just in case. IF there is a God and IF he is then not disgusted by this kind of thinking, I would choose not to believe in him anyway.”

    Tristan,

earlier today, when I read your article, I didn’t have time to answer it properly, so here it goes, your ‘evidence’ is going to go to the shredder piece by piece:

    Tristan said:
“Do you ever wonder where the idea of friendship actually came from? It?¢‚Ǩ?°?É‚Äû?ɬ¥s the sort of thing I wonder about all the time. Did you know that before the time of Jesus, friendship did not even exist. There is no evidence of what you or I would call a friendship before the time of Christ.”

The following are all quotes from the Old Testament, meaning they are ALL statements you believe to be 100% true. They all show the principle of friendship existed before Jesus came.

    1. “?¢‚Ǩ?°?É‚Äû?ɬ?No!?¢‚Ǩ?°?É‚Äû?ɬ? Jacob said. ?¢‚Ǩ?°?É‚Äû?ɬ?Please accept these gifts as a sign of your friendship for me. When you welcomed me and I saw your face, it was like seeing the face of God.”
    - Genesis 33:10

    2. “Then they would bow down because a thick cloud would come down in front of the tent, and the Lord would speak to Moses face to face, just like a friend.”
    - Exodus 33:9

    3. “So the Lord told him, ?¢‚Ǩ?°?É‚Äû?ɬ?I will do what you have asked, because I am your friend and I am pleased with you.?¢‚Ǩ?°?É‚Äû?ɬ?”
    - Exodus 33:17

    4. “Jonathan thought as much of David as he did of himself, so he asked David to promise once more that he would be a loyal friend.”
    - 1 Samuel 20:17

    5. “Giving an honest answer is a sign of true friendship.”
    - Proverbs 24:26

    6. “The sweet smell of incense can make you feel good, but true friendship is better still.”
    - Proverbs 27:9

So, Tristan, your first statement is proven wrong. Especially the third quote above must be shocking for you. God HIMSELF called Moses his friend. Please reply if you think you can prove me wrong.

    Tristan said:
“You might say, Jesus invented the whole concept: Consider the 12 disciples – a small group of men, drawn together for companionship and to do God?¢‚Ǩ?°?É‚Äû?ɬ¥s work, but most of all to serve Jesus Christ. Isn?¢‚Ǩ?°?É‚Äû?ɬ¥t that the very definition of friendship?”

No, that is not the definition of friendship, although a logical result of a friendship between a group of Christians is offcourse Bible study and/or religious activities. So the situation you have described is definately friendship, yes. Nevertheless, the definition of friendship has nothing to do with serving Jesus, because of the simple fact that friendship existed before the time of Jesus (see my prove above), probably since the dawn of men.

    Tristan’s said:
“Before Jesus?¢‚Ǩ?°?É‚Äû?ɬ¥ time, men would gather; there?¢‚Ǩ?°?É‚Äû?ɬ¥s plenty of evidence of that: But with what purpose? Most likely to drink, brawl, brag about how many babies they had aborted and eventually sodomize each other.”

Since the Hebrew Laws in the Old Testament clearly state that homosexuality is prohibited, plus the fact that the population in those times was much more obedient to the law than now, I would say it’s very unlikely that gatherings of men always ended in ‘sodomizing’ eachother.

It’s more likely that friendship was MORE important in ancient times than it is in modern times. Current western societies are much more individually oriented than ever before. One might even conclude that friendship is being deemed less and less important.

Just look at the biblical story of Jonathan and David. They had one of the deep and caring friendships in the entire Bible, and yes, it’s in the Old Testament.

    Tristan’s said:
“A rabble of anti-science atheist protesters had gathered outside the museum in order to express their shrill anger that America?¢‚Ǩ?°?É‚Äû?ɬ¥s God-given constitution permits people to hold opinions that differ with their own.”

Tristan, America’s constitution also allows anyone to protest against anything, as that too is freedom of expression. If you would want to demonstrate before an atheistic museum, you would be allowed to do that as well. These atheist protestors are merely trying to open YOUR mind for another opinion than your own. And as much right as YOU have to express your opinion on a site like this, so have the Atheists.

    Tristan said:
    “If there is no God?¢‚Ǩ?°?É‚Äû?Ǭ??¢‚Ǩ?°?É‚Äû?Ǭ?
A believer loses nothing at death.
    If there is a God?¢‚Ǩ?°?É‚Äû?Ǭ??¢‚Ǩ?°?É‚Äû?Ǭ?
An Atheist loses everything at death.
Who, then, is being a dum dum?”

If this is really the message you want to convert people to Christianity with, you clearly don?¢‚Ǩ?°?É‚Äû?ɬ¥t understand Christianity yourself. Being, or deciding to be a Christian isn’t a choice based on fear of what one might lose when death comes. It should be a choice of principle, a choice of love and compassion, a choice with heart and soul. Messages like the one above will only remind atheists of your closemindedness.

    Tristan said:
“If you see him (and he?¢‚Ǩ?°?É‚Äû?ɬ¥s kind of funny looking), the best thing for you to do is throw him out of your Church and tell him never to come back. That?¢‚Ǩ?°?É‚Äû?ɬ¥s what we did when our Church security team identified him.”

This proves again what I said above: You clearly don’t grasp the message of Christianity. Throwing someone out of the Church just because he has another opinion than you is one of the worst offenses against Christianity. A Church should be accesable for anyone who wishes to go there, hospitality is one of the greatest assets of a Church, or at least, it should be. Some more biblical evidence to show that you’re doing something horrible by throwing someone out of your church:

“Everyone who asks will receive. Everyone who searches will find. And the door will be opened for everyone who knocks.”
    - Matthew 7:8

Tristan, it might pay off to actually read the Bible when you write an article, so you can prevent yourself from contradicting the Bible, which you say you believe to be 100% true.

Lots of friendships during the times of the old greeks and romans. THat was B. C. OWNED!

It has something like a gay touch.
Think about the Roman Legions. A 1000 men drawn together to defend their country. Without the concept of friendship, it would have never worked.

?¢‚Ǩ?°?É‚Äû?ɬ?Hey, lets go do some murders?¢‚Ǩ?°?É‚Äû?ɬ?, ?¢‚Ǩ?°?É‚Äû?ɬ?Why not – after all, we are atheists, so what is stopping us?¢‚Ǩ?°?É‚Äû?ɬ?, ?¢‚Ǩ?°?É‚Äû?ɬ?Yeah – murdering is cool?¢‚Ǩ?°?É‚Äû?ɬ? – This dialogue might seem outlandish to you, but not to an atheist, who lacking a moral compass has no particular objection to murder, or any other kind of criminal activity.

Actually, I?Ǭ¨?Ǭ•d slap anyone having such a dialogue. Atheist or not. YOu see, I?Ǭ¨?Ǭ•m an atheist (in your definition) and my moral compass is an easy one: DOn?Ǭ¨?Ǭ•t do onto others that you don?Ǭ¨?Ǭ•t want to be done to you. Simple but effective.

Most likely to drink, brawl, brag about how many babies they had aborted and eventually sodomize each other.

What do you have against drinking? Hell, Jesus himself was drinking wine!

Ahh, the DHS. Well, given the fact that they will show up the same time, the FBI and the UNIT are coming for me, I don?Ǭ¨?Ǭ•t think that the protesters will have any troubles. :)

    If there is no God?¢‚Ǩ?°?É‚Äû?Ǭ??¢‚Ǩ?°?É‚Äû?Ǭ?

Who, then, is being a dum dum?

Actually, the believer looses one lifetime spent with living for a totally meaningless thing.

So now the unscientific dumbasses have a museum. Oh well, it seems like the USA are going down the kitchen sink by the minute. Time for europe to take over business. Come one, people! We have a world to run!

I know a lot of friendly, good people that are not christians. A fact that proves your petty theory wrong in an instant.

Take a look back in history. Before there has been Christianity there have been no rules, no decency and no morals. Face this fact.

Hmmm, old greeks, roman empire, oh, hey, there have been a lot of high cultures in China that worked perfectly fine without christianity. There had been rules, there had been moral standards, there was a sense of decensy. Perhaps not the same as the christian one, but still one.

And what has the christian religion given us? A dark medieval, inquisitions, religious prosecution, the for that time quite unique mass-murdering for political reasons called the crusades. And a lot of corrupt preachers using religion as a facade to strife for their own targets.

Now that?Ǭ¨?Ǭ•s morality. And decency. And rules they didn?Ǭ¨?Ǭ•t know either. OOOPS!

The whole idea of atheist not valuing life, so thus we choose to kill is completely fabricated and is a complete sham to what all the advancements to civilization from all creeds. Atheist could value life more, because they know its the only life they are getting, and so its vital they enjoy it, and share with all races, to explore and learn with open minds, not biased of just one book or one groups slant on what life might be.

And to you that brought up the comment about believing in god is sensible choice because you have nothing to lose. Is not a well thought out argument. To illustrate, when you chose to believe in a god, that doesn’t define which god. So you, by choosing to believe ‘in a god’ are putting yourself at risk in believing in hopefully the right god.

I am not an atheist, i just care about logical arguments. You have some pretty well thought out idea’s here, and we might agree to some extent, but i do please advise you to re-read your material with all bias, hatred, or any fears you may have.
