According to recieved opinion, we conservatives lack a sense of humor. The only way to get a hoot out of America (so we are told) is to criticize our government at a time of war just like Saturday Night Live, Stephen Colbert and the america-hating cartel of Hollywood liberals do every night.
I think the Liberal media are in for a big shock: There’s a new news program from Fox called “The Half-Hour News Hour”, and trust me: It’s hillarious.
Consider this short feature about America’s most revilled presidential candidate. It’s just great to see satirical comedy that takes the side of the government rather than mocking it for petty political, ideological reasons. Finaly, we have satire that decent, hard-working American families can enjoy.
Can somebody please explain to me why satarists and comedians have to be so dis-respectful of great American institutions? Why do satirists mock the Church, the Family and our President? For once we have a great comedy show that has pledged to support the founding principles of America. I’m praying to Jesus that the network execs give this show a second series.

I am a thrilled to hear that FOX News is doing a conservative comedy show. What they are doing looks very similar to the videos on ourcountry.com. You should check them.

I have been reading through your blog for a few days now, and I was thinking that you were the greatest satirists of our genereation. My boyfriend tells me you are all dead serious, but the “Rapture Index?” You guys are very very good.
Small point, if by chance you aren’t satirists and, in fact, are dead serious in this idea that the left hates America, well, 1) “recieved” – “i” before “e” except after “c” and 2) the right making fun of UNITED STATES Senator Obama is no different from the left poking fun at your savior, George. I mean, they both have absurd ears, but you only notice them on the other party’s guy.

Damn this is so funny,not the show,the fact that your being a republican has once again prevented you from seeing the truth that’s right in front you.[i.e. oil from other countries does not automatically belong to America and your hero George W.
