Briefly Patriotic – Groundhog’s Day
Now, I ain?t anti-fun but it?s time we stop letting homosexuals and Satanists slip their not-too-subtle pro-gay and anti-Christian messages into every aspect of American life.? Groundhog?s Day is a perfect example of this.? Groundhog?s Day, so-called, falls at the halfway point between the winter equinox and the summer equinox.? These are two of the most powerful days in the Satanist calendar.? They use Groundhog?s Day to promote this fact and to start talking about Satan to our young people.? As for the homosexuals, keep your ears open for all the jokes about the groundhog ?coming out?.? And I?m too much of a gentleman and a Christian to say it out loud, but why else would anyone wanna give a town that kind of name?

Groundhog Day is based on some goofy old superstition! You have delusions of the Devil under every bed and hiding behind every Rock band! And you see homosexuals hiding in every closet threatening to come out of those closets! I imagine the name Gobbler’s Knob refers to wild turkeys! It probably had that name for 200 years or so! Goofy holidays and goofy named towns get you so paranoid about hidden agendas! Are you joking or are you a joke?
So… when are you going to start screaming at everyone who doesn’t upgrade to Vista?

I discovered groundhog day today, I didn’t know about it until now. Here in France, today we have a christian celebration called “chandeleur” (it would translate as “Candle day”), where it is tradition to eat cr??¢‚Äû¬¢pes (I don’t really know the equivalent word in english, it’s a kind of pancake, but thinner) in a room lighted by candles. Of course many people have forgotten that this is a christian custom, but it is inherited from the pope Gelase I.
That said, I’m on my way to eat. Man, I love cr??¢‚Äû¬¢pes!

“Gobblers Knob” is a very old name. “Gobblers” are turkeys and “knob” is an archaic word for a pronounced geographical landmark. There are several places around the US by that name. Is Punxsutawney Phil part of the homosexual agenda? If you re-arrange the letters in “Punxsutawney” you get “Use tawny punx”! Does this mean the groundhog’s home town is somehow related to prison “punks”(homosexuals)? LOL

Ermmmm, Satan is an Abrahamic concept. Groundhog day does indeed fall between the Winter Solstice (Yule) and the Spring Equinox (Ostara). The day is known as Imbolc to Pagans and Candlemas to Christians.
Pagans don’t believe in Satan, let alone worship him. They believe in the turning of the seasons, the Wheel of the Year. I fail to see what is ‘Satanic’ about that.
Just goes to show how little some Christians actually know about their own faith let alone anyone elses.
@ Brigid, that is what I have been trying to get at with them. They claim to know everything about another religion but do not even know their own. I am wiccan/pagan, and I have absolutely no idea how they get that I worship satan. I can not worship something that does not exist.
This is the first I have ever heard of the groundhog day being part of a homosexual agenda. and you would think that me being gay would have heard about this.. STR is so fucking paraniod they really need to either get on medication or have their medication changed.
