tristan hun those albums have parental advisory stickers on them so chances are children will not be able to buy them unless there of legal age. but your article make a very good valid point there. tipper gore and the pmrc had this done back in the 80's.

I was actually going to step in and comment here, but it would appear as though baconhanger has done my work for me, and for that, I thank you.

Also, to the author of this blogpost: whether this is real or satire, just tossing Kurdt into the mixer with hip-hop artists is pure blasphemy. You should be ashamed.

1. bootlegged music does not fund terrorism, bootlegged music is usually music that is not paid for. osama bin laden has nothing to do with offensive or stolen music.

2. real musicians do not make music for money, record companies and mtv make music for money - hense paris hilton's recording career.

3. record companies are the real theives. the musicians get a small cut of their hard earned money. most of the money go to the record executives, and producers.

3. dj's (in clubs, on the radio, at weddings) make money off of playing other people's music. this is widely accepted, and good promotion for musicians. companies like pioneer, technics, behringer, stanton, etc. design turntables and mixers just for dj's. they profit off of the whole dj culture, which is mixing pre-recorded material for a live audience, or for mixtapes. if this is concidered piracy, then why are radio stations, clubs, and wedding receptions immune to the RIAA? why not go after pioneer for designing the instruments used to "bootleg" and make mixtapes?

4. if you dont like the content of the music, dont listen to it. america has an amendment just for this... its the 1st amendment. freedom of speach. the same amendment that allows you to express your ignorance on this site.

5. yes, im a renegade musician who works outside of the RIAA. i chose not to be under the restraint of the recording industry. i do not need a contract to produce, distribute, and perform my music. yes, this is america, we have those rights. not all musicians are in it for the money.

6. have you ever seen a sticker that says "PARENTAL ADVISORY: EXPLICIT CONTENT" ? again, if you dont want to hear it, dont listen. if you dont want your children listening to it, be a parent and shove your ideals down their throat, like a true christian.

7. is a SWAT team nessessary for busting someone with "pirated" music? please take note that dj drama did not have any illegal contraband on his premises. no drugs, guns, or anything stereotypical of rap musicians.

8. you are a poor excuse for a christian, ms shuddery.
dont judge lest ye be judged...
the real terrorists are people like you. self righteous christians who point the finger at everyone but themselves. you are the people who send your children out to "defend" our country, when our country wouldnt need defense, if you werent harrassing 3rd world countries over their religious beliefs and oil.
this country was founded by freemasons. yes, freemasons are occultists. look at the back of the $1 bill. george washington and ben franklin were both masons. the first christians who stepped foot on the americas, brought disease to the peaceful indian tribes, and shoved their beliefs down their throats. those indians who would not accept christ, were killed - men, women and children. christians practically wiped a whole race of people off the face of the planet. sounds alot like the holocaust. religion has spilled enough blood upon this planet. if you believe in satan, quit helping him out. keep your thoughts to yourself, and get off your fuckin high horse.

you make jesus sick.

sincerely,
baconhanger - atheist/anarchist/proud

Thanks for warning us about evil rap singers like Kurt Kobain! Coming up next on STR,Tristan exposes the threat of drug-crazed women of Funk such as Pearl Jam(lead singer of Stone Temple Pilots)and Satanic Death Metal songstresses like Alice In Chains(aka Alice Cooper)!

I just love parody sites like this! It's so over the top it's hard to distinguish this brilliant satire from, say, Pastor Swank, who, sadly for him, is for real. You'll give Jesus' General a run for his money, that's for sure! You might want to make it clear that this is a parody site, though. Otherwise somebody might stumble in here and conclude that Konservative Kristians are an uptight, sheltered bunch of puritan pansies who are scared of their own shadows and ashamed of their humanity. Oh, wait...

Keep up the good work; it's hilariously funny!

Get professional help. Why do we let oxygen theives like you continue to breathe?

That RIAA gets all the laws it wants from Congress from the DEMOCRATIC (and some GOP) politicians they finance. The laws they buy will bite your worthless, stupid ass as a consumer as well.

Laws bought by the Hollywood content cartel also are the single greatest threat to American competitiveness on the world market... since they tell people what American consumer technology companies can and can not make and sell. If we lost Hollywood, it would be bad for Southern California. If we lose the American consumer tech sector, we're screwed as a nation.

If you're a friend of the RIAA, you're Osama's butt-buddy, (who else wants to destroy the American economy?) too. Maybe your blog should be in Arabic, and you should change your site name to al-shelley-the-republican.com

Looks like Mr. Neck had a previous life we didn't know about. A cassette sponsored by planned parenthood? Just look at the picture link for evidence.
