Now y?all probably know by know that I?m a pretty big music fan.? One of the reasons I started doing Billy Bob Neck?s Hour of Bein? Good was to get some of my favorite songs of praise out to world in hopes that listeners would, like me, start tapping their toes for Jesus.? When you listen to a song like Princess Ramona?s Then I Started To Yodel or The Sammy Hall Singers pouring their heart and soul into Plenty Of Time you can?t help but feel God blowing on your soul to stoke the embers faith into a fire of belief which Jesus tends and cooks your meal of salvation.
Music (at least music the way God intended it to be played) has charms to soothe the savage breast.? Some people claim that before making any major decision, President Bush listens to the Statler Brother?s version of Just A Little Talk With Jesus in order to clear his head and to keep him from making any rash decisions that might endanger the nation he swore to protect.? I start off Billy Bob Neck?s Hour of Bein? Good (or as we call it at home BBNHOBG) with Joel R. Cooper singing Cup of Jesus because, to change the change the words of the song a little, it starts my show off right.? No matter what kind of mood I?m in, whether it?s jubilation from preventing a homosexual teacher from claiming another classroom full of kids for the Homosexual Agenda or deep, deep sorrow from not being able to convince a girl not to kill her pre-born child, hearing the first chords of that song soothe my breast (savage or not!).

The Devil being the Devil, though, has always got take something good and pure and Godly and turn it into something sinful and seductive and satanic.? I?m hoping that this chart prepared by Bible Believers will cause at least a couple of those who read this website to steer clear of Satan?s lies.

Country music,like rock & roll is based on the blues! Country legends & stars have suffered from substance abuse problems but I think pressures of show business would be to blame,not the music! Robert Johnson’s selling his soul to the devil was an urban legend! I suppose you hate Jazz & just neglected to bash it too! Racists like Harry Anslinger & J.Edgar Hoover hated Jazz & Blues too! They smeared the music as immoral music for dope fiends too! In the 19th Century,the Waltz was called by preachers “A rollin’ in the mire” & “The rhythmic incantation of the Devil”! I think it’s absurd to blame a music style in & of itself as causing evil! I think there might be evil ideas in lyrics but not in the music style!

The music is cathartic tool. I strongly believe ancient people (you know, those Neandertals and Cr??Ǭ•-Magnons you deny ever existed) sang before they could talk.
Also original music would seem like devil’s work to you as well, since it was mostly drumming. Nevertheless, it has spread and evolved.
Most importantly, the music is created when the artist’s soul is bursting with somethin s/he needs to say/share/get out of his/her system. Thence, music covers all ranges of human emotion: love, hurt, loneliness, anger, joy, or just plain playful sillyness.
Similarily, the recipient of the music (listener) usually picks the music that matches his emotional state.
And the “saving chart for sinners” that lists rockers’ deaths is just silly. Look at any other mortality tables and you’d see stark similarities. What about comparing it with deaths of presidents of the US of A?

if i was forced to listen to pop country and “christian” music, i’d be dead by before i was 25 anyways. for all intents and purposes, music is more than just lyrics; plugging bible versus and “praise jesus” into the same 4 chords over and over again really doesn’t provide any kind of musical satisfaction. for those of us who play an instrument out of love of music itself (and not for any other reason), already know this.

In the the Holy Bible, it says to Love Thy Neighbor. This means to show compassion for each person you meet. Everyone. Whether you know them or not, like them or not. Satan means Opposite. Which means not to Not Love Thy Neighbor, but to use common sense. Love and compassion is meant for your close friends and family. You can meet a person and gradually show compassion for them and soon become their friend, but it doesnt happen instantly. Lets say a man comes to your house, saying he was in a car crash and needs to use a phone. You might think the right thing to do is to welcome him and let him in your home. This may seem likes a good choice, but, not saying its not a good choice, what if he were to do harm? What if he was a murderer? This doesnt automatically mean EVERY SINLGLE person who comes to your door is a killer, but its using common sense. And actions can be taken to avoid any mistakes. Like, I would let him use my cell phone, not my house phone. But, if he’s not a killer and seems like a nice guy, I might add him on Facebook or Myspace and get to know him a bit more. In other words, better safe than sorry.
Another point in Satanism is Live by your feelings, while obeying they rules. This means, to show how you feel about something, but dont over-do it. This may seem like hypocricy, but if you think about it in a way that feelings and rules are 2 different things, its not. You can express your feelings anyway you want, but without breaking any rules. For example…

It could mean boundaries. For example. Im not gunna send 10 people to do a 2 man job, yet Im not gunna send 2 people to do a 10 man job. Another point in Satanism is to not Turn the other cheek. The Satanic Bible describes this as cowardness. If someone cuts your brother with a broken bottle, are you going to look the other way and ignore it? No. Youre going to do something about it. This doesnt have to mean violence (in some cases yes, but in others, peaceful resolution is better), but in the case of the broken bottle, maybe talk to the guy. If he fights back, fight back too. Turn the other cheek doesnt apply to just yourself. If he fights back, youre not gunna walk away, because he might kill you. Common Sense.
Another point in Satanism is to not harm animals or children. Most people believe Satanism to be about sacrifice. As much as I fuckin’ LOVE Slayer, I must say, some of their songs are wrong. But then again, none of them are Satanists. 2 are Atheist, 2 are Roman Catholic. They only write the music. None of them live by their musical word. So I dont blame them. The 9th Law of Satan is to NOT harm children or animals. Christianity contradicts this rule. Didnt Cain and Able sacrifice their son to God? Didnt Jesus sacrifice himself for our sins? Satanism isnt neccessarily about worshipping Satan. Which means, dont sacrifice a dog or a baby to Satan, because he wont like it. He’s not about evil. Satan means Opposite. Its the opposite of Christianity. And Christianity doesnt mean “Good” either.
So to conclude this passage, Satanism is not about evil. Its not about sacrificing virgins to Satan, or killing in his name, its about living life by YOUR feelings, not by Satan’s/God’s feelings. With Christianity and other religions, they live life by God’s way while breaking the rules. Not in all cases, but take suicide bombers for example. Nothing against the Muslim religion, but some people take it a little too far. And with Christianity. Some people do unneccessary things because “God told them to do it” **coughGeorgeBushcough**.
