In god we trust was added on in 1952. It was unconstitutional then and it is now. Thsi country is based on the power that “we the people” give it. It was the first government to not declare itself divine right, and all of the text that our nation is founded on is secular. You can’t change the past or facts by believing they aren’t true. The declaration of Independence, the Constitution, and the Bill of Rights have no foundation on god and no relation to any god(s). They are purely secular and based on the might and will of “we the people”.

All that don’t believe in Jesus Christ, can stand in their non belief and say there is nothing wrong with leaving out “In God We Trust” on the new coin. In the end all those that have rejected Jesus Christ will one day be on their knees and their heads bowed, and there will be no objections then. The time they have spent rejecting Jesus has only secured their place in the lake of fire. Look up for Jesus is drawing near.

Actually our country didn’t start putting religious advertising on it’s money until the Civil War. It became law in the 1950′s.

Also, the original Pledge of Allegiance didn’t force school children to swear a daily loyalty oath to an imaginary sky daddy. That also was done in the 1950′s.

NORMALLY, I would NOT agree with STR’s position on ANYTHING, but this is somewhere I can make an Exception….since the inception of our wonderful country EVERY peice of currency has had “In God We Trust”…and there is NO reason that should be changed! Almost every country has a reference to either god, or that which they worship upon their currency. Also, the idiots who want “Under God” taken out of the Pledge of Alegence…GET A LIFE, changing that one word won’t make any difference other than forcing a centuries old tradition to be changed because you feel “Offended” in some way! (we all KNOW how OFFENDED you are…..LOL!)

Within the next few years,the United States of America will be part of a Union of the Americas(like the European Union) & we’ll have a coin like the Euro! We’re going to lose our sovereignty & STR is worried about whether or not a coin says “In God We Trust”?

That coin looks quite good. Showing the perhaps most known historical american through the world and the symbol of freedom. Nothing against it!

And yes, it was invented by the republicans! And if you read the article, you might find out that “in god we trust” is now just standing on the rim of the coin!

So please, read the article first, then talk about it! (And no, reading the headline means not reading the article!)

Our coins aren’t made of gold or silver,our paper money has no backing & you’re complaining that the slogan “In God We Trust” isn’t on the new coins? Our money isn’t coined by Congress as the Constitution mandates! Instead, the Federal Reserve banking corporation makes “money” out of thin air & charges high interest when they print “funny money”! When the economy collapses,it’ll be unimportant what is or isn’t stamped on worthless metal or green pieces of paper!

Not ta worry folks, it’s really there–ya jus’ gotta know the secret method. If ya jus’ takes the letters on the coin an rearrange ‘em, you’ll see that them letters really do spell out: “In God We Trust”
