Briefly Patriotic – Our 2008 Presidential Endorsement

signforrummy.jpg

A lot of liberals are crowing about how Donald Rumsfeld got forced out of his job as Secretary of Defense.? That just ain?t the case.? Secretary Rumsfeld spent six straight years working at full capacity and spent most of that time standing.? With the War on Terror just about over, he deserves some time to kick back and enjoy a sunset or two.? But, don?t get too comfortable, Rummy, because today we at Shelley The Republican dot com, officially ask you to run for President of the United States in 2008.? We cannot think of a more truthful, honest and trustworthy man to take charge of the country and lead it to beyond greatness.? When the Draft Rummy petition comes to your house, we hope you?ll sign it.

if you cant think of a more honest man than Rumsfeld then you can’t think at all. it is clear you only have ROM in your brain and no hard rive or ram. this rom was imprinted with some information at birth and you cant change them no matter how stupid we know now they are.

I truely hope that he does run. That way the democrats have no chance of losing that election, either.

  3. Jarvis Fernley November 9th, 2006 3:40 PM

God bless you for suggesting this great American to be our next President of the United States. I cannot think of a finer gentleman or patriot. He will be a GREAT president! If it wasn’t for the fine work of Donald Rumsfield we would not be where we are now in fighting the War on Terror and the War in Iraq (actually the same thing as we all are aware) We probably wouldn’t have had the balls (pardon my French) to invade Iraq if Mr. Rumsfield hadn’t told President Bush it was a good idea. Mr. and Mrs. Jarvis Fernley will proudly sign the petition when your representative comes to our house. Furthermore I will volunteer to do some door to door signature gathering myself. Let me know if I can be of assistance. God bless America and God bless all who operate and visit this site except for the Godless liberals and communists and foreigners who come here just to make smart ass (pardon my French again) remarks and insult us, our party and our God! To you folks I promise your judgement day is coming!

“and spent most of that time standing.”

    Arf!

Mr Colbert, I salute you. STR is a work of genius. You’ve made me laugh out loud so often these past few months, thankyou.

Vote for Rumsfeld? Hell No! I’m voting for Mike S. Adams. I wouldn’t even vote for God.

To close the topic opened a few days ago about an article claiming a huge republican victory at the last elections, and according to what I promised, here is the evidence that BBN did write it, and did publish it on this site :

The front page of the site before the article was removed :

The article with the comments. The forth comment is specialy funny :-)

I let you build your own opinion about that …

(my first message pointing to this evidence was censored … lets see what happehns to this one …)

Yes! Please have him run. With all the blood on his hands from the botched Iraq invasion the DEM candidate is sure to win!

Oh, and I’m sure he can find some WMDs over there as president — didn’t have enough power in his previous position.

Rummy on CBS: “The WMDs are in and near Tikrit and to the North, East, West and South.” That’s intelligence at it’s finest!

  8. Carl Strohmeyer November 9th, 2006 8:51 PM

Donald Rumsfeld? He is smart and good man, but he epitomized what is wrong with the Republican Party (of which I am a member). The Republicans can win in 2008, but they need to fix these problems first:

?¢‚Ǩ?°?É‚Äû?Ǭ¢ Image is not everything, in fact it should be number 3 or less:
Often politicians and businesses put image first (real common in our area). Truth should come first; People should come second (or first); Then maybe image (yes image does sell, politically and professionally).
Voters (and consumers) also need to honor those who do put truth and people above image. In my business, I have dropped major accounts do to poor treatment of my employees I have sent out in the field, I also have tried to sell only what I know works based on my testing in my maintenance business. But sadly I see politicians and businesses get rewarded for image and not honesty.

?¢‚Ǩ?°?É‚Äû?Ǭ¢ Stand up for the Truth:
Sadly many politicians will not take a stand for the truth or at least what they believe is right. Joe Lieberman stood his ground against his own party and paid for it in the primary, but not in the general election. I do not agree on the majority of his views, but I have to give him credit here. What happens in my opinion is far left leaning politicians such as Nancy Pelosi get in power when no one Democrat or Republican stands up to them.

?¢‚Ǩ?°?É‚Äû?Ǭ¢ Admit to not always being right:
Unfortunately Republicans are not always right (I sure make mistakes, wish I didn?¢‚Ǩ?°?É‚Äû?ɬ¥t). Admit to mistakes.

?¢‚Ǩ?°?É‚Äû?Ǭ¢ You cannot have it all:
This is where the Christian right gets into trouble, they will insist on 100% or nothing, such as no abortion-ever. Start with what you can get, such as a ban on partial birth abortion.
Governor Schwarzenegger is a good example of this, many Republican would not back him do to some more liberal views, but in my opinion, he was vastly better than the alternative.

  9. frenchie November 9th, 2006 9:13 PM

We, French, from the Old Europe, are happy with Repulican’s defeat. Rumsfeld lied about WMD presence in Irak. You, Republican, made the world more dangerous by your stupid and arrogant attitude.
At the end, you have been defeated.
Close your hainous website and go fishing.
    Adieu !
    Lebewohl !

  10. Carl Strohmeyer November 9th, 2006 9:25 PM

Wow frenchie! That is a rather na??ÉÀúve statement. While I am not Rumsfield?¢‚Ǩ?°?É‚Äû?ɬ¥s biggest fan, but there were other reasons to go into Iraq other than WMD. Also it should be noted that French Intelligence screwed up along with American and British Intelligence in stating that Saddam still had this WMD program going. The difference is putting some back bone into statements to reveal what he did have.
Do you remember history and ?¢‚Ǩ?°?É‚Äû?ɬ?Peace in our time?¢‚Ǩ?°?É‚Äû?ɬ?? Well if someone had more back bone then, maybe 2 million Jews would still be alive. But then removing a man from power who has killed thousand of Kurd children is not worth it either???

  11. Godless french November 9th, 2006 10:36 PM

    @Carl
French Intelligence never said there were WMDs in Iraq. They said there was a small possibility that those WMDs exist, and that the UN should remove them from Iraq if they were found (the UN forces were already disarming some of the Iraq arsenal at this time).

English and USA Intel, however, were 100% positive that they existed, and 100% wrong (or else, can someone explain why they didn’t use it when they were attacked and why noone found them?)

And for the “others reasons” to go in Iraq?
Bringing freedom? discutable, since there is still troops here.
Bringing peace? more people die now that under Saddam.
Securing oil? Under which right? It’s theirs, they should do what they want with it.
Fighting terrorism? I think the US marines haven’t seen that much terrorists since they went there.

  12. Jarvis Fernley November 9th, 2006 11:44 PM

Does frenchie really think we care what the French people think about ANYTHING? These are the people that rolled over and let Hitler shove it up their poo-poos (pardon my FRENCH!) without even flinching. That may be why most of them turned gay after the war. They actually liked what old Adolph did to them! Cowardice became national policy which it remains to this day. Now they can’t even handle a few unruly ragger immigrants. They are rolling over again! Let’s just keep on boycotting that awful French wine and continue to call “French Fries” by the more patriotic name “American Fries”. We don’t care what the French or anyone else cares! Our president will back me up there! God bless America and to hell with the rest of the world! Jarvis Fernley, a Christian Republican patriot has spoken!

  13. Swip November 10th, 2006 3:24 AM

“They actually liked what old Adolph did to them!”

You are absolutely right, brother in Christ!

I will also support Rummie for president! He can handle a gun and dislikes gay sissies who cannot even ride a horse.

  14. London Guy November 10th, 2006 4:59 AM

    Dear Jarvis,

Did the french in WWII do any worse than the US did in Vietnam? oh, let me guess… it was a draw was it?

    *laughs*

And did the French do any worse that the US is doing in Iraq or Afghanistan?

    I think not.

and since all of the things that have to come to pass about Iraq were things predicted and argued by the French (and were their justifications for NOT joining your pathetic war on an ideology), your government would have done a lot better than to follow the rabid ravings of a man in malaria fever (i.e. your man in charge).

Christian Republican patriot? isn’t that just another phrase for Rabid Racist Hatemonger?

So Vive la France, and Vive la Differance between the Americans and the rest of us – we don’t actually like you, we don’t respect you, and we definitely don’t trust you.

  15. Godless french November 10th, 2006 5:56 AM

French fries will be called american fries now?

“The US of A: we don’t invent anything, but we like to claim those as our owns anyway”

  16. Shelley November 10th, 2006 6:00 AM

    Godless French,
the correct name for “french fries” are now “Freedom Fries”.
    Just fyi.
    Shelley Goodman

  17. London Guy November 10th, 2006 6:08 AM

Actually your government; you know, The one your prophet is in charge of (or was until recently) stopped calling them Freedom Fries a while ago – after it was noticed that everyone else in the whole wide world, along with round about 50% of your own country, just plain couldn’t stop laughing at the stupidity of changing the name just because you didn’t agree with what they said.

  18. Swip November 10th, 2006 6:51 AM

“So Vive la France, and Vive la Differance between the Americans and the rest of us – we don?¢‚Ǩ?°?É‚Äû?ɬ¥t actually like you, we don?¢‚Ǩ?°?É‚Äû?ɬ¥t respect you, and we definitely don?¢‚Ǩ?°?É‚Äû?ɬ¥t trust you.”

And why should anybody here be interested in a gay french opinion?

  19. Godless french November 10th, 2006 8:47 AM

    @Shelley

Anyway, we french were laughing at you for decades, because what you call french fries is, in fact, a belgium recipe.

Of course I don’t expect you to know the difference between France and Belgium.

  20. Christophe Le Cur??Ǭ© November 10th, 2006 12:04 PM

It has been noted before, this *incredible* obsession with homosexuality.

“Methinks the lady doth protest too much” – probably a bit deep for Billy Boy, but why, oh why do you keep on about it so? Why this childish need to say “you’re gay” and as the intellectually-challenged Jarvis put it “let Hitler shove it up their poo-poos”. It’s worse than pathetic.

  21. Dubya November 10th, 2006 4:04 PM

    I don’t understand.

Wasn’t Linux that kid with the blanket?

Y’know, the one from the Peanuts who hung around with Charlie Brown?

  22. Billy Bob Neck November 12th, 2006 1:41 AM

?¢‚Ǩ?°?É‚Äû?ɬ?Methinks the lady doth protest too much?¢‚Ǩ?°?É‚Äû?ɬ?

What in the Sam Hill are you talking about, France-Waahhhhh? I ain’t gay and I ain’t no lady! My golly! I guess you really must be one of them college professers because you don’t make no kinda sense at all.

  23. Proud German November 12th, 2006 1:32 PM

Yes, please enlist mister “I have fucked up Iraq” as your candidate. There will be never ever again a democrat victory achieved that easily!

We, French, from the Old Europe, are happy with Repulican?¢‚Ǩ?°?É‚Äû?ɬ¥s defeat. Rumsfeld lied about WMD presence in Irak. You, Republican, made the world more dangerous by your stupid and arrogant attitude.

That?Ǭ¨?Ǭ•s a SIGNED from Germany here! AMEN!

These are the people that rolled over and let Hitler shove it up their poo-poos (pardon my FRENCH!) without even flinching.

Well, Jarvis, this was not because the french were 8or are) cowards but because they got surprised by the new combined arms tactics (Blitzkrieg) employed by the Wehrmacht. They (like the US Army, I might say, thought of WWII to become another trench war. That was responsible for their defeat. And I doubt that the USA would have made a better job when bein in the frenchies place. Hell, the Russians did most of the work anyway.

Oh, and this “frenchies are gay”-attitude: I?Ǭ¨?Ǭ•ve never met a gay frenchmen. And i have benn to that country several times during my time in the Bundeswehr. (NATO affairs, you know.)

We don?¢‚Ǩ?°?É‚Äû?ɬ¥t care what the French or anyone else cares!

As an answer, no one will care about the USA. And you need the world more than the world needs you, honestly. China and Europe are rising.

And why should anybody here be interested in a gay french opinion?

Because it?Ǭ¨?Ǭ•s the same opinion as that of most of the other countries in the world?
