Normally, I ain?t one to trumpet my own achievements. It is my belief that it ain?t me that gets an abortion clinic shut down or a homosexual teacher fired from a public school. Only Jesus can do that and he deserves all the credit. So, if it were up to me, I wouldn?t even bother telling you about the interview I did for the Citizens Against Truth podcast. But the editors of Shelley The Republican insisted. And I wouldn?t use phrases like ?hands-down winner? or ?mop the floor with her?, either. Those ain?t my words. Those are the words of others. So, with the humility borne of Jesus Christ?s suffering on the cross, I hope you enjoy the interview with Citizens Against Truth.

If Liberals had their way, Christmas would be banned because it’s “too religious”. If the Democ-rats ruled America, Thanksgiving would be turned into a big apologizing session because now they?re so keen about pretending that Christopher Columbus was a “criminal” rather than someone doing God’s will (and they like to be ashamed of the founding of this nation, which they hate, so I guess they don’t see that they have any reason to be thankful). As we also know, the fifth column of leftists in our nation would also like nothing better than to ban our children from ever being able to read the 10 Commandments. As far as I can see, no holy day is sacred to them.

But there is one festival that that Liberals view as untouchable.

That’s right, it’s Satan’s big night out: Halloween.

Mention the fact that Halloween might be a less than desirable thing to be celebrating ? given over as it is to the Dark Lord and his demons – and the howls of fag Liberal rage can be heard from outer space.

Halloween: Harmless fun or dangerous night of Satan? (By the way, the answer isn’t that it’s fun. It’s not. It’s evil.)

And let’s not be mistaken about this. Halloween is one of the biggest threats to the security of our nation that we face. Vote Democrat and it will be Halloween every night!

So great is the Liberal control of our media, courts and local assemblies that, sadly, Christians have so far been unable to ban this disgusting “celebration”. There are, fortunately, several things that we can do to help combat the evil that roams abroad on this night. (By the way, many of these come courtesy of the good, sensible Christians at Assemblies Of God.)

Meanwhile, if you are subjected to a “trick or treat” attack instead of turning out the lights and praying silently to yourself, why not take the opportunity to pass out gospel some tracts and candy to the neighborhood children? If you’re in need of suitable material you could do worse than giving the liberal offspring these “groovy” comics.

Of course, some Christian parents take the position that they want nothing whatsoever to do with this barbaric night of evil ? and I’m actually inclined to agree with them.

Sadly, however, so great are the pressures that come from the liberal media and America’s enemies – and so prevalent is their pro-Halloween and pro-Satan propaganda that your children may well feel “left out”. Especially when they see all the children of degraded liberal single-parent-families out and about in the neighborhood “having fun” by causing trouble.

As Republicans, it’s our duty to come up with practical answers to this problem As I see it, there are long term and a short terms solutions to this problem.

On the dark night itself, bake your kids some cookies and get plenty of candy in. Then occupy their minds with a suitable program of Bible readings and prayer. If your kids continue to look upset, remind them that the other kids at their school are hated to God, unclean and hellbound. Remind them also that if they don’t do as you say Satan will come and get them and they will be tortured for eternity.

In the long term, the best, most Christian, approach is to try to persuade the pro-Halloween neighbors to mend their ways – or to quit your district. If they don’t listen to reason and Christ’s loving teachings, it should be fair game for you to paint red crosses on their doors in order to warn other Christians, persuade the police to pay them numerous visits (they’re probably smoking drugs and hiding terrorists after all!) and encourage your children to teach their own young uns some lessons from the school of hard knocks. They’ll thank you when you save their souls. Or they’ll just go to hell anyway ? in which case, who cares what they think?!

And don’t forget to pray for those poor lost liberals! Pray that they finally see sense and come back to Jesus! I know I will be!

Today’s Democrats remind me of the Iraqi army in the final stages of Saddam’s defeat. Like their role-model Saddam, they are even fielding their invalids as a last ditch attempt to restore their credibility. A twitching and shattered Fox appeared on national TV ad made an argument which amounts to little more than because God saw fit to afflict him with Parkinson’s disease, then millions of pre-borns should die.

Fortunately, a group of Republicans lead by Rush Limbaugh have decided to tell the Conservative side of the story. Limbaugh was quick to notice that Fox’s shaking and lack of co-ordination had deteriorated substantially since his TV performance only months earlier. It was obviously an act, after all Fox is an actor!

Ultra-left wingers at NBC rushed to assist Michael J Fox’s attack on unborn children. Only brave Rush Limbaugh was prepared to tell it as he saw it – Fox was taking advantage of his illness to make a political point. He was exaggerating his disease, and had made himself an object of ridicule.

Rush is not the only culture warrior to dare to speak out against the left-wing baby-killing conspiracy. This sensible advert from the GOP gives plenty of reasons why no sane American should allow scientists to perform research on embryonic stem-cells:

The argument that is most persuasive to me is that we’ve spent fifteen years and many millions of dollars studying stem-sells and we still have not found a cure for all known diseases. There is no scientific point at all in studying stem cells. Why not resort to prayer? It’s been proven to be the best healing technique since the time of Christ.

Missouri – don’t be fooled into allowing stem-cell research in your state. What could be more persuasive than a group of well-informed sporting and media celebrities who are prepared to speak the truth about the abomination that is stem-cell research.

If we took money from Stem Cell research and put it into the President’s faith-based prayer-awareness program just think of the improvement we would see to the nation’s spiritual and moral health.

Of course, liberal stem-cell butchers are just going to scream and yell about how their junk-science can’t “accurately measure the effect with any kind of objectivity…” Then they?ll come out with studies where the fudge the numbers to say that prayer has no effect. But the simple fact is that the Holy Bible says otherwise. Jesus raises the dead and gives the blind back their sight. I’m sure if we just prayed a little harder then God would fix-up the war-wounded and even cure people with Parkinson’s.

It’s just a matter of getting our priorities right. Every Republican knows that if we could divert as little as 30% of the funds from Cancer, Stem-cell and AIDS research into prayer oriented programs there would be no more disease.

Pastor Rick Wade of Probe Ministries received a prophetic vision from God a few days ago in which God told him that the physical destruction of the United States of America would begin this weekend, starting with earthquakes and tsunamis in California, Florida and St. Louis and continuing with E. coli breakouts, bird flu pandemic and acts of unspeakable terror throughout our nation until America is reduced to a third world country.? God told Pastor Wade that he might go easier on us if we, as a nation, would beg his forgiveness.? Dear Friends

It is my privilege to present to you: Barbara Rushton. Barbara is one of the greatest Americans I know. She is always there with a helping hand, she is a strong woman, she is a proud Republican and true American patriot. If everybody in America would just just be a little bit more like Barbara, we would not need a war on terror, because we would have won it 60 years ago.

Shelley: How long have you been a member of the Republican Party and what was your biggest political success?

Barbara: I have been a member since my 18th birthday, so that makes me a member for almost 43 years. my biggest success was leading the election campaign for president George Herbert Walker Bush here in Iowa City back in 88. When we heard that he had won – it just was an incredible feeling. He was such a great President and he’s such a wonderful honest Christian man.

Shelley: I know you are a successful publisher. Do you feel you have to be a Republican to be successful in your job?

Barbara: Unfortunately I don’t think you have to be a Republican in order to be successful, there are many liberal publishers who are successful (just think at J. K. Rowling with their evil Harry Potter books) but I am proud of being a publisher with a Republican background. I publish books that help keeping the moral fiber of the US strong, books which share Christian values and morals with the reader, helping them finding a fair and balanced approach on life, politics, religion. I can make a difference for America and I certainly try to take that chance, making a difference!

Shelley: Is the American society headed for disaster? If so, what can we do about it?

Barbara: It certainly seems America is heading for the worst. I think ShelleyTheRepublican.com does a lot to show people the moral wrong-doings that take place today and hopefully awakens them and brings them on the path of righteousness.
Also we should ensure that the Christian government we have today stays and that we support the President and his people, trusting him in doing the right choices. We need to get rid of the term-limits to allows President George W. Bush to finish the job, winning the war on terror.
I think your web site gives a lot of examples of what’s wrong and what could be done about it.

Shelley: We have been best friends for over 10 years now. I am so glad you stayed in Iowa City but did you ever think of moving somewhere else for your career?

Barbara: Yes, once there was this opportunity for me to get a job as a publisher in a major publishing house in New York City. I actually went there for an interview but after staying there for two days looking for an apartment it became clear that I couldn’t stay in the Rotten Apple any longer. I just can’t live in such a godless place full of liberals. So I declined the job and came back to Iowa City where I lived ever since – happy and content.

Shelley: What are you plans for the future and are you going to publish the book I am going to write soon?

Barbara: If your book is as good as your website, I sure will, no question about that.
I am going to publish a series of novels of young Christian authors from all over the country and I hope it will become a huge success with the readers and for which I’ve worked very hard the last couple of months. After that I will take a long vacation and do some charity work at our local church.

Shelley: Is there something else you want to tell our readers?

Barbara: Yes, please choose the path of righteousness and help us stop the moral breakdown of the American society. Support the President and the government as well as the war on terror. We as a nation have to stand strong against the terrorist threat and the influence that Liberals and Democrats pose.
May God be with us in this time of crisis to lead and to listen.

Shelley: Thanks for the interview Barbara. It has been an honor!

There are some Americans who are prepared to fight for our traditions. These brave patriots are the few who dare to stand up for Jesus. These people denounce that which is sinful, and strive for what is right. We call these people Culture Warriors, because we are fighting a very real war against an encroaching tide of liberalism.

Not so long ago, Sam reported on the concerned parents of Fisher Elementary School, Dallas, TX. Their children were being exposed to obscene nudity on an art trip organized by ultra-liberal teacher Sydney McGee.

The parents worked together to get the liberal-arts teacher fired, so she could no longer harm their kids. What better example of parent power do you need? This is proof that the culture war starts at home, and that when we act as one we can make a real difference.

Last year we profiled the good work of Laura Molloy, the Atlanta mom who fights to keep teens safe from the evils of Harry Potter. I’m proud to report that not only did she succeed, but she managed to eliminate this pro-wiccan text-book of the occult from her entire district.

Could reading a Harry Potter book lead to demonic possession? We cannot be 100% sure, but shouldn’t we err on the side of caution? The safest thing to do is eliminate these books from our kid’s libraries.

Would you have the courage to do what Laura did? Thanks to Laura, hundreds of kids in Atlanta will be going to heaven, who might otherwise be damned because of a book. What could be more important than life after death with God and Jesus Christ? Thats the greatest gift we can give to any child.

Laura wrote in to thank Shelley the Republican, and all our readers. Your donations and prayers helped ban these evil books from Atlanta kids’ libraries. Laura is an inspiration to conservatives everywhere in the USA, simply because she was brave enough to take a stand against ultra-liberalism.

Today I’d like to introduce a new soldier in the never-ending battle against sin. Like Laura Molloy, Texas Dad Alton Vern is concerned by the texts set by his daughter’s English classes. In particular, she was asked to read ?Fahrenheit 451? by Science-fiction author, atheist and malcontent Ray Bradbury. His daughter Dianne, aged fourteen complained that she was offended by “the cussing in it and the graphic description of burning a Holy Bible.”

Why would a school board knowingly set a text which includes cussing and controversial issues? We at STR.com believe that impressionable teens should be protected from this kind of harmful material.

We askede Vern why the book should not be set as a school text: “With God’s name in vain being in there, that’s the number one reason,” said Diana’s father Alton Verm. “There’s no reason for it being read”.

We at STR.com agree 100%, why on earth would a school assign a text like Fahrenheit 451 to impressionable kids? What on God’s earth are young Americans supposed to learn from a book which suggests that kids should burn the Holy Bible? We at STR.com believe that it’s not the Bible which should be burnt, but the all the godless literature such as Fahrenheit 451 and Harry Potter!

Not only is Farenheit 419 offensive to God, it is also offensive to firemen, the brave people who defended New York on 9/11. In this book, the firemen are employed to set fire to the Bible. This is nothing short of slander! Please explain why liberals are content to keep hurting the brave people who defend America from terrorism?

If the Conroe School committee have any sense, they will remove this hellish book from their kid’s library immediately. Lets hope they use this opportunity to take a stand against literary sin.

STR Action Alert:

• Check your local school library for unchristian books. Most churches keep a list of evil books to be avoided, however you can look out for “Brave New World” by Aldous Huxley, “The Catcher in the Rye” by J. D. Salinger, “Catch 22” by Josephh Heller, “The Crucible” by Arthur Miller, “Huckleberry Finn” by Mark Twain, “1984” and by George Orwell. All of these books are gravely offensive and should not be read… ever!

Many blue-state school libraries do not stock the “Left Behind Books” by Tim LaHaye. These thrilling stories are guaranteed to be Biblically accurate and present the reader with important moral and scriptural lessons. No wonder these are the President’s favorite books. Why on earth do we need Fahrenheit 411 when we can read the superior “Left Behind”?

• The world abounds with great Christian literature. If your school’s library does not stock the Left Behind Series by Tim LaHaye, please inform your school’s librarian. Your church could offer to donate the complete set.
• Finally, if you see a child or an adult reading a book which is offensive to God, interrupt them and explain that their choice of book is not mere ‘entertainment’ but a fast-track to Hell. Offer to exchange their book for a copy of the Bible. Tell the ‘reader’ about all the great stories (e.g. Noah’s Ark).
