I am sure you have all heard of the computer game ?The Sims?. Apparently it’s the best selling computer game of all times. Millions of children worldwide are playing it and are indoctrinate by the hidden liberal agenda of that game.
The sims, the little human-like characters in that computer game live free from the natural boundaries of society. They have premarital sex (gay sex even), take drugs, grow their hair long and very seldom take showers. In short they demonstrate the liberal lifestyle.
Aspyr Media, Inc., the maker of the Sims, describes the game of follows: ?The sims evolve by genetically passing on physical and personality traits. Create and play your own virtual sitcom by choosing one of five different aspirations ? Popularity, Fortune, Drugs, Liberalism and Sex.?
First of all, let me clarify this: Genes do NOT make a personality, only God does and the same with how you look. Second: This disgusts me, this is not how Americans live their life. Who gives Aspyr the right to deny the right of children to learn about God’s creation of mankind? Why do we still allow such crap on our children’s computers? America is a Christian nation, why do we still fail to act as true Christians?
Please contact Aspyr today and urge they to stop the distribution of this game. If you are still a macintosh user, you might want to contact Maxis and clean up your small corner of the computer world. I don’t even direct this request to the linux world. It’s all too late for them anyway.
One way or the other, do something today. We have to start to teach real Christian values to our kids.

Like you, I previously believed that this game was harmless entertainment; after all computer games (e.g. Space Invaders, Pong, Pac-Man) do not set out to make political statements. On the other hand “The Sims” exists merely to communicate liberal lifestyles to our teens. It’s a disgusting hateful game.

I think that those screenshots are of modified versions of the game. You get modders who edit the game files, in this case to remove the blurring around naked Sims and add that weird, transparent bikini woman.
The second screenshot isn’t even the same game. The face modelling is different, there is bloom and the Sims doesn’t have sex scenes.

Just so ya know the Sims is rated “T” for teen, meaning it’s not intended for kids to begin with, and second, those screenshots appear to be from modded versions of the game.

A birth. When I saw this I couldnt do anything. My character and her husband kissed romantically and in turn hugged their new born baby……on their own, no commands. I was very close up and saw the expressions on thier faces. Bliss.
The same went for their wedding (before hand), every birthday and A* report card. How can a loving, happy, beautiful, FANTISY WORLD be seen as something so wrong in your eyes?

The images above are what one person has created for their own game, their is no such thing in the game you buy. You see nothing rude or even violent, it is all blurred and covered.
I believe that the game teaches real values, such as family and working for an honest pay. I am English so dont see the political side you described but I do know that you have to pay bills, there are constabulary forces that are well needed and thaught of, if a character does something wrong there are consiquenses and your sim cannot survive without basic needs. In all there is nothin sinful unless you have a sinful mind.

Wow, it amazes me that just to try to prove a point thats completely false you actually spent the time to browse the internet and find those pictures (or did you gaia forbid actually download and install those “modifications to the game”) and not actually telling the good people who read this page that they are infact modifications. Files encoded for the game by misguided users, not easily obtainable like you may like people to believe. Out of all games i have ever played this game is by far the most placid and harmless to children.
Only god makes personalities. Right, for a start where do your views begin to make sense? its a computer game, a simulation game, its simulated personalities. Not real people.
As for the second picture, it is infact a computer rendering that is NOT the sims or sims 2, not even from a game, it has been quite obviously make posed in poser and setup in a program such as daz 3d, then had effects put on it in photoshop or such. Again a twisting of reality. You seem to be good at those. Plus the quote, thats laughable as in the sims 2 your sims can marry with a proper Christian ceremony.
I challenge any of you who read this to actually try to find these mods, where a child could get them, where a child could see them, without the need of getting past adult content warnings, credit card checks. Not to metion how hard these are to find in the first place. The only easily obtainable mod is one that removes a privacy BLUR from your sims. (Yes the sims are blurred out in an unmodified game, protecting modesty and young eyes.) Plus when the blurs are removed the only thing you see is a barbie and ken, no genitalia, not even so much as nipples. Shall we now boycot and ban all dolls fromlittle girls because they have plastic calluses that may or may not look like female glands.

Hello all (mainly directed to parents), I want you to read this and hear me out. If you don’t want to expose your children to violence or nudity in video games then pay more attention to your kids. Take your kids and teach them how to play a sport or take them to a playground. If thats not something for them then take them to a library or to the beach. There are hundreds of things to do with your children that have nothing to do with video games or television. Would you rather spend time with your kids or spend that time fighting against videogames? Even if videogames become completey illegal will that stop people from playing them? It hasn’t stopped murders, I’m pretty sure it hasn’t stopped drug abuse either.
By the way, the reason why I even decided to make a post here was because when I was young I was introduced to violence and nudity in video games. There was a game out for Nintendo 64, the title of it was Goldeneye 007. This game was released in 1997 (at the time I was six years old) and I watched my dad playing it. He explained to me what it was that he was doing (killing people) and why he was doing it. He decided he would let me play it and he made sure I knew it was just a game. I understood the reason for the game, I understood that it was just entertainment.
I believe that the reason why there is violence in videogames is because it is entertaining. Its not entertaining because killing is “good”, its entertaining because it’s not something you see everyday. Its different from the normal everyday life, similar to that saying, “variety is the spice of life”.
After a couple years I bought a gameshark so I could “cheat” my way through my videogames (the game shark allows you to enter short lines of code that allow you to alter the way the game plays). I searched online for some lines of code to change Goldeneye 007 and came across code that would make one of the female characters nude. I used the code and entered the game to see that the code had in fact, made the female nude (the vagina and nipples were not visible, similar to a barbie doll). The reason why I did this was because, at the time, I was curious and didn’t know about the female body.
As of now I am still attending high school as an honor roll student and have lived life perfectly normal since. I am not a “kid” that gets in trouble, I respect other people and I stand up for myself and my beliefs. I don’t let people push me around or try to decide things for me, I listen to reason. By 2008 I will have graduated from highschool at the age of 17 and will be attending a college shortly after.
The main point I am trying to make…
If you have children or are going to have children then explain to them why things are the way they are. Teach them what is right and what is wrong tell them to think for themselves, don’t let others do it for them.

- first of all like some others have pointed out this particular game is rated M so if anyone has bought it for their children they are not being responsible I would never buy a game or my child before reading the rating and what it’s abotu.
-second I and my children own some sims games, the none porno ones witch i find to be entertaining and educational in the sense that it teaches my kids what its like to be responsible for another “living being” by watching what happens if the sim doesn’t eat or sleep etc. I dont believe that these games are evil at all. you just have to choose the right ones.

I don’t think the sims are bad games in the way you are talking about. Sure, like in sims 3, there’s the whole stupid stereotypical little town with a central park and a bistro where everyone hangs out, etc. But the sims are not ‘longing’ for sex. They’re computer generated characters, they don’t have minds. Humans, however, (real humans) DO have a longing for sex. It’s one of our natural instincts – to reproduce, pass on our genes in a hope that when we die, our race still lives on for at least a fraction longer because we passed on our genes. Sims don’t have any natural instinct. You can’t say that a child of 8, say, playing the game is being hit with all these sexual images, etc, because they control the sim world the way they want to, and if they don’t really know anything about that part of life, then they won’t be using it in the game therefore the game isn’t influencing the child in any way.

Second, I’d bet you’ve never even played The Sims, nor do you know anyone who has. You seem to be quite misinformed of how the game works. For example, the lifetime aspirations are Family, Romance, Popularity, Fortune, and Knowledge. Or are these all values you “Christians” are against, too? There’s no way those pictures are actually from The Sims. Sims wear bathing suits in pools and hot tubs, and are blurred or made into large pixels when getting in and out of the shower. The word “sex” is never used in the game, and sims rarely get a cold or the flu, much less show off their insides. They also must shower everyday or their hygiene meter declines, leaving them miserable and whining to be bathed. They also acquire a cloud of green smoke and filth that follows them until their hygiene has been raised. Premarital sex is not a horrible thing, and the sims must be in love with each other to have sex. Also, there is NOTHING WRONG with GAYS. LOVE IS LOVE. But you’re obviously incapable of experiencing love. And drugs? Drugs? Really? I’ve never found an option to let my sims do drugs.Please, do tell. I’m sure so many people have their sims running around on meth and coke. Remember those rare colds? There’s not even an option for cold meds. And long hair? What, are you living in the 60s? Long hair? It’s no longer a cultural sign of anything other than long hair. And as far as your “God” crap? Stop shoving it down other peoples’ throats. It is people like you who cause all the problems and create all the hate in this world. If you have a problem with simple things that people do like let their hair grow, have sex, or play computer games, go complain to your Adam and Eve, as they were the ones to eat from the tree of knowledge, and give you all the shameful and conservative tendencies you readily display, though it’s apparent you have no knowledge of anything and are entirely ignorant to The Sims and all you speak of. I guess you’ve defied the first basic principle of life. You’re ignorant and miserable.

Well… first of all… if this game’s moral features were meant to be taken seriously, IT WOULDN’T BE CALLED A GAME! Secondly, if you’re the kind of person that wants to banish a video game to the fiery depths of Hell… you have some serious problems of your own that need to be dealt with before you go and dismember a child’s outlet of creativity. Lastly, if you actually believe that this game is bad because of the sex in it… how is that not different from being against sex in the real life. IT HAPPENS, people have sex! OH NO! First of all, every picture that you showed is a user created mod, I’ve seen them before. This content is not, I repeat, IS NOT part of the game, unless someone creates it. The Sims lets you do pretty much anything that a real person would do, and choices are up to the player. If you made the worst possible choices so that you could make a hate-review to advance your own personal agenda, your loss. The Sims can actually be a nice game if you want it to be. Sure, some people make sex-crazed teenagers. And some people make Jesus. If you had even taken the time to look over a paragraph long review, you would know that. Now, go back and hide in your little political hole.
Oh, and the Aspirations are not “Popularity, Fortune, Drugs, Liberalism and Sex”, they are Popularity, Fortune, Family, Knowledge, and Romance, as you would know if you had taken 5 seconds to look it up. And America is not a christian Nation, though it does seem to be going down on the IQ scale. Maybe one day you’ll get what you want XD

i dint mean to be rude but those images are photo shopped in otherwords not real. there are nude mods yes, but they make the sims appear to be barbie dolls there are no genitalia so are you saying all barbie dolls must be destroyed lol. well back to the point anyone can get those images they are created online to fool people like you into downloading a “nude mod” which is probably a virus FYI

i have re-read a bit that i missed AND HAIR LENGTH! i’m a christian and my mum BOUGHT me this game and i am PROUD to have long/short hair (whatever hair length you disagree with) but seriously what he heck, hair length and hygene – do u like shout at poor tramps on the street saying: HAVE A BATH AND GET YOUR HAIRCUT. no because you lot are meant to help them – why waste time talking about something inanimate and being really selfish while you could actually be SAVING peoples life and enviroment – not complaning and petitioning about a fake one. *LOW*

I stumbled across this looking for the most violent PC game out there, so I can download it and enjoy playing it. My wife has the sims game, the pictures you show have NOTHING to do with the game. I indeed have mod software for the game, I enjoy using and changing looks,voices, textures like you show but know nothing of.
I cant tell you how many times I found my self having sex with a random person in a mall while drinking whiskey and at the same time snorting cocain while shooting people in the face with a over sized unrealistic gun after I stole many cars and killed police men and chilren, after all of that I stop and think “If only I didnt play that awfull sims game none of this would have happened.”
