Thought of the Day - 1 : Immigration
The way I see it, nowhere in the bible does it say we should encourage illegal immigration. In order to build the cristian nation required for Christ’s return we must purge the nation of non-Americans. This is not racist, it’s just something we have to do in order to herald or Lord’s second coming. What could be more desirable than that?
How would you feel if you had to go to hospital only to learn that the surgeon who intends to perform an operation on you is a non-American athiest? It’s as desirable as having an alcoholic bus-driver. But strangely enough, under a democratic clinton-era government many important public, medical and state jobs are increasingly being taken by athiest foreigners.
“Christian’s against Immigration” will be a PAC which supports leading Republicans who want to keep America for us Americans. I don’t see how anybody could object. Now I’m not proposing that we close the borders entirely. For starters, Americans should be able to go where they want, when they want. We Republicans believe in freedom.
On the other hand, I want to impose much strictest possible regulations on foreigners wishing to come to America. How about these:
- Only Christians may enter America. Anybody wishing to visit the U.S.A. need to pass a bible-quiz in American English.
- Any immigrant wishing to to visit the USA must be subject to an RFID tag. Anybody who removes or tampers with the tag should be immediately banished from the U.S.A.
- We need a great wall; not just on the Mexican border, but also against the canuks. This new barrier should be permanently policed by armed guards who have the power to shoot any illegal immigrant on signt.
All this seems perfectly fair to me. Can you see any flaws in my modest proposals?

Wow, that proves once again that you are a careful reader of Mein Kampf.
I do not want to discuss on your arguments (otherwise flimsy) because most contributions usually criticise them. I rather prefer to point to your goals, and make you notice that probably *you have failed* to attain them.
The first option is to believe that you are a real person, a firm believer on the superiority of the USA, Christianity and the West (in decreasing order) over the rest of the World. Half of your audience imagine that you stand firm against abortion, homosexuals, euthanasia, blacks, Islam or Linux, and that you may even think of George W. Bush as almost a Messiah. In this case, note that the other half of the audience believe that you are someone else, joking at those values you consider most sacred. For this half of the audience, you are but a *mockery of yourself*. Therefore, you failed in promoting your values.
The second option is to think that you are that someone else, and that your blog is intended to joke on those people believing on what your character does. In this case, please note that half of the audience strongly believe that you really think what you write, and they are either scandalized or take you as a source of their beliefs. For that half of the audience, *your joke has become Truth*. Therefore, you failed in ridiculyzing those values.
The third option, and the one which makes you successfully attain your goal, is to think that you simply wanted to provoke. *Only* in this case, congratulations.

Especially the big wall. There is just one small disadvantage: you are too late! I think the Native Americans would still live happily, if they had this big wall, when the first pilgrims arrived. But they didn’t and that?¢‚Ǩ?°?É‚Äû?ɬ¥s really a shame. The country where I was born, the German democratic republic, by the way had the same idea, nearly 50 years ago. And they built a wall, that became world famous. Luckily the idea about closing a border just doesn’t work and luckily the GDR doesn’t exist anymore.
So please learn from Europe and the rest of the world, because nearly every mistake was done before in history.

I’m affraid so. Securising all the borders will need a hudge amount of armed guards. Buying the weapons will not be a problem thanks to NRA lobbying. Paying the gards will be too expensive, even for a country like the USA, unless you hire immigrants.
One solution to reduce costs would be to use immigrants as gards, not pay them at all (give them some food) and make sure they keep being motivated at shooting on other immigrants who try to cross the borders by keeping their families in camps. If a gard lack motivation, his family will know it. But even with this low cost solution, there is still a flaw: too many armed immigrants on the right side of the border.
To conclude, I think that your “wall” idea is not a good way for weapons builders to make money. Otherwise, it would have already been set up. Border have to remain as they are.

4) Put all the illegal immigrant in camps where they can work for free. At the entry, you can put a sign saying “Work gives freedom”.
I know that you already have similar camps with millions of persons, but I am not talking about jail. If your camps get overcrowded, instead of paying to send those persons back, you can just build ovens. 100% benefits for US of A!

Hitler was also democratically elected.
The registered voters on the USA aren’t nearly the 50% of the citizens on voting age.
The voters on almost every election aren’t nearlly the 50% of the registered voters.
The colegiate “winner takes all” system that the USA uses means that the president don’t need the 50% of the emited votes to win, just need to win on the right states.
All this summed up means that a 50% of the US citizens don’t care who is the president and who makes the laws, less than the 25% of the citizens decide who is going to be the president and who is going to make the laws, and they call that democracy.

That is the only way to ensure no one gets in by illegal means. Also air traffic from foreign countries should be restricted to only few places, not more than 10 places, that should be enough.
Sea traffic should be monitored the same way, any violation to this should carry maximum penalty.
“Shoot on sight” should be the new policy of law enforcement against immigrants and foreigners who do not obey the law.
Also the Coast Guard should be renamed as Comissars or Judges to ensure foreigners know about there status.
This must be extented to police aswell.
National security would be ensured if these methods are to become legal.

This is liberal nonsense. Walls (in the North and South) will most likely pay for itself. Immigrants cost America millions of dollars every year. Terrorists cost us billions every year. The cost of maintaining and policing a wall will be a tiny fraction of what America can save.
Yes, this will be a major industrial undertaking; however I can compare it to the space-program. Both will yield unexpected dividends.

Finally a good idea. Build the biggest wall and stay behind it so that the world is not threatened anymore.
This idea of putting a great wall around the USA reminds me the movies “escape from New York 1997″ and “escape from Los Angeles 2013″. In those films, both cities have became a prison with a big wall around them. THe question is: would the US or the rest of the world be the prison?

I believe the Israeli government is currently implementing such a barrier against the neo-fascist palestinian people. I’m sure that this sound concept could be used for our Mexican border control; I we had a “no man’s land” zone similar to those at the North/South Corea border, with mines and machine-guns and all that, I’m sure those filthy Canuks would stay in their foxholes where they belong. May I suggest that we immediately pass the necessary laws to ensure we identify and mark those non-American immigrants. I know… we could call it the Nuremberg laws.

What we need is a bubble, above AND BELOW ground to prevent the entry of any immigrants. The sky bubble must resist direct hits from aircraft (since those goddamned Afganis gave them the idea) and the underground sheath needs to prevent all drilling attacks.

I’m a christian in a country where I know there will not be good opportunities for me. I know the bible and I listen to christian radio program on the internet for 5 years now.I have done home bible studies from Christian Ministries in the usa and I want to be in the usa now.
I perfectly agree with the idea of asking biblical questions then you will not have muslims to come to the usa.

I think that closing of USA to every non-Christian in the world is one of the stupidest ideas that I have ever heard. If the United States had no relations with any non-Christian countries, it would not be as “perfect” to you as it is today. I have seen some of the comments that you make of foreigners. I myself have been to Germany and I found it to be a very nice place. The people in Germany where in fact extremely nice. I enjoyed that trips much more than my trip to the United States. I also currently live in the Middle East, in Dubai and I find it to be a very nice place. All foreigners are not Atheists. I come from India and am a Hindu, though there are many other religions in India as well. All religions must be equally respected. God is not an American, and I think that America is nowhere close to Godly. The American society is one of the most morally deficient in the world. You’re crazy President and many of you’re soldiers are creating more problems in the Middle East than there would have been without them. Have you ever been to Europe?? The people there are by far more decent than most Americans I know and so are many of my Muslim friends. Every morning, when I open my morning newspaper, I see images full of death and destruction caused by American and Israeli soldiers. What right does America have to interfere in the policies of the Middle East. They are separating people and causing so much bloodshed and destruction. Unfortunately for people like you, America is now dependent on foreign companies and people from countries like India and China. These countries are already rapidly catching up with the US in all respects. It is predicted that in 25 years, India will catch up with the United States. Why must the US try to deprive all other countries of there rights to nuclear energy? America is the only country in history to have ever actually used a nuclear bomb to destroy a foreign city. They killed millions of people in Japan, because they wanted the ruler to step down. Wasn’t there a more peaceful way of achieving this? You say that Iran should be nuked. That is one of the most horrible ideas I have ever heard. There are millions of innocent people living in Iran who do not deserve that kind of torture. Already, people all over the Middle East are fleeing there homes and their countries. People like you sit in front of your Japanese made t.vs, on your British couches, drinking French made wine and feeling sorry for all those “innocent” American soldiers, busy causing chaos. Your views represent the views of very few of your fellow Americans. You say that America is so far superior to Europe. Well, most of the states in America where once European colonies, so you are of European descent, probably French since you say that you are from Iowa. The only real Americans are the Native Americans. The descendants of those who were not wiped out by the settlers now probably reside in Mexico as Mexican citizens or in the US as “Illegal Latin American Immigrants”.
