Christianity is freedom and tolerance. Unlike other religions Christianity does not oppress people. The foundation of our religion are the “Ten Commandments”:
- “I am the LORD your God who brought you out of the land of Egypt, from the house of slavery…”
- “Thou shall have no other gods besides Me… Do not make a sculpted image or any likeness of what is in the heavens above…”
- “Thou shall not swear falsely by the name of the LORD…”
- “Remember [zachor] the Sabbath day and keep it holy”
- “Thou shall honour your father and your mother…”
- “Thou shall not murder”
- “Thou shall not commit adultery.”
- “Thou shall not steal.”
- “Thou shall not bear false witness against your neighbor”
- “Thou shall not covet your neighbor’s house…”

People like this being allowed to speak is the reason that church attendance has dropped 50% in as many years.
What kept me from becoming a Christian were the rubbish stories about walking on the water and carrying a cross up a hill. But explanations like that Jesus was surfing make it all very understandable to me. The crucifixion wasn’t really a crucifixion but just Jesus’ early cover version of the song made famous by Soundgarden, “Jesus Christ Pose”, right? And Johnny Cash was God really, and homoes and GWB don’t really exist but are just metaphors for having fun and a simian taking over teh asylum, right?

I find it a bit hypocritical of Bush to call for a ban on gay marriage, when his own marriage breaks a far more serious boundary, i.e. that between a human (his wife) and him (a, albeit christian, simian). This also begs a different question: can a simian be a christian? Or species other than humans in general? What if a parrot says “I want to be a christian”? Should it be allowed to become one? Or noble animals like horses? Surely a pig is superior to a muslim, and as such it should be allowed to confirm that superiority by being baptized? These are serious questions, and this the place to answer them. Do you have pets that you feel should be allowed to become christians? A loyal dog that saved your life?

To whom it may concern,
the following story should not be read by people with a bad heart condition or who are infuriated by statements opposing their own beliefs.
It was a hot summer’s day and the sun was shining on my collection of rare extinct butterflies which were lying on the roof of my bunker in the great desert of some arabian nation to dry when a woman recognizable by her beautiful black burka approached my habitat.
The vision of her in the distance was still blurred by the uprising heat of the blazing sand but I could already see the indication of an attractive female body lurking beneath the pieces of cloth hanging down over her someow abstract silhouette. I have always been a man who is turned on by strange body measurements and proportions.
As she advanced towards my palace of sand I got ready for the impact of sudden liveliness I expected to strike my unsatisfied libido which had in the past few days gotten so desperate that it urged me to abuse various animals of the desert and made them drink my juices which again they greeted with great pleasure. Since then those creatures, be it snake or vulture, in need of liquid refreshments have come to me happily paying the due to get their ration of precious ressources. As my love pump grew to be increasingly exhausted by the harsh tasks it had to perform on those typically unnatural entry holes, the thought of being able to bond with a being of my own kind became more and more diserable.
As I dwelled on my perverted arab mind I was abruptly taken back into the world commonly referred to as “reality” by a divine shrieking voice apparently belonging to the amorphous lump of flesh covered by its black garment. “Hello handsome!
