I wonder where she has the information from, that the annual income would be around 170 trillion Dollars…? The annual income of the USA is NEGATIVE!! Check governmental sites for affirmation.

This means the US debt is growing extremely fast, because the government has to raise credits to:
1. pay for the annual losses,
2. pay the interests for the actual debts.

Coming back to your example: If there is a family with $2,500 in debts, they have to raise an annual credit of $1,000 to pay their bills and raise another credit of $200 to pay their debt interests.

How long do you think this family can keep on living a prosper life?

I would like to give you the benefit of the doubt, I am an educated man, but honestly I know little about finances in the US. Shelley, please enlighten me, I would like to know about your debt situation and the like even though you are afraid of confusing all the stupid liberals on here. So far to be honest I havent seen many, most of the posts have be somewhat researched posts of rational people. But I really am curious about your explanation, and a math major I think I have the intellegence and logical ability to follow your explanation, i.e., you will not confuse me.

you forgot a lot of things in your article about US.
they are the only UN “democratic” country :
- that has not signed Kyoto convention
- which refused to sign the anti-mine convention
- which attacked freely another country (USSR is NOT a democracy)
- it has the most cosumming people (ratio is like three times the french one)
- full of integrist
- full of weapons’ crazy people like your beloved Tristan

Dream is only a dream … Look at Europe.
We’re not perfect, not at all but:
- some of them have free health care insurrance
- some of them have an unemployment lower than yours without your precarity (Dannish)
- internet network is more developped
- we don’t believe “we’re the best” but we try to do it. USA is exactly the reverse… Believing they’re the best but doing worst stuff.

America is still a dream for some people… Like third-world ones: they don’t have any ideas of what is getting on (like immigrations quota)

I’ve just read that Bush want to make homosexual marriadge “unconstitutionnal” … why would adult conscentant people would’nt be allowed to be happy ?

I’m still hoping that the “gun’s amendment” would be erased one day, we’re no more on cowboy time.
