Tristan, HOW ARROGANT for you to make a statement claiming that you KNOW what GOD, GOD wants… That you know that GOD wants people to vote Republican. I can’t claim to know what God wants, but my heart tells me that he doesn’t want us sitting on the couch watching reality TV or the E! channel.

My heart tells me God doesn’t want us buying junk food and soda from major corporations that donate millions to politicians that will change the law to further the corporations’ ulterior motives such as becoming more lax with the FDA and its approval process…

My heart also tells me that God doesn’t want us to vote for war mongering politicians that use God’s name to further his own cause.

What I know for sure is that we should pray that we are on God’s side, not proclaim that God is on our side.

The Iranians are led by ?¢‚Ç¨?°?É‚Äû?É¬?religious?¢‚Ç¨?°?É‚Äû?É¬? leaders – though since it is the devil they worship I use that word advisedly. And crazy religious people cannot be trusted with nuclear weapons – they will simply use them to destroy the people of other religions. Err.. When did god say vote for Republicans anyway? And all this hatred towards, well, everything else. Stop living in a fantasy(oops that would mean you’re going to hell) and look at the world(no i don’t mean your house gate. OUTSIDE your borders). Wait, won;t that mean that you’re goin to hell coz only americans are supposed to go to heaven?? Ridiculous posts like the Linux (tristan should have a restraint against going NEAR a computer, or a VCR), Harry Potter and against other people’s belief are not going to make people like you any more. No wonder the rest of the world thinks Americans are a bunch of dim witted fools. This is really a sad day for a country like America to have people like you around.

Hey, is America a democracy, or a totalitarian regime? I’m kinda finding it hard to tell at the moment. I mean sure, you can say the constitution allows freedom of speech, but does that mean you can use the freedom of speech to oppress minorities and abuse others who do not agree with your opinions? I mean, democracy relies on their being more than one political party, it is a coming together of different ideals and opinions, ultimatley resulting in a solution that benifits all, isn’t it? The way you would have it, from the sounds of it, would be my way or the highway, as quoted at the top of your site (U – S – A : (Love it or Leave it!))

Curious… do you encourage freedom of speech? Or is it a freedom to accept the current status quo or leave America, the grand freedom loving country?

It sounds more like an illusion, a dream. One that can be enjoyed, as long as you don’t dare dream for yourself.

An “Islamofascist dictatorship” would be the product of moving further to the right… So unless Democrats move even further right than Republicans, I don’t think you have much to worry about. A socialist state, on the other hand, is quite possible. But compare Sweden to any “Islamofascist dictatorship” and I’m sure you’ll see quite a number of positive, “leftist” differences.

Your homework: Look up the definitions of “facism” and “liberalism.” Then decide where you stand.

Musilums are not bad people! The word musilum means one who submits. Our founding fathers set this country up on the principal of freedom of religon. Musilums are some of the most devout people, they pray 5 times a day. Have you ever seen a Christian pray that much? Christians should follow a lifestyle, not a once a week thing. A useful insight into America although you somehow omit Americas complicity with the drug barons, terrorists etc.
It’s a very well known fact that America backed Iran financially before Saddam’s anti american stance, that the CIA has been involved in numerous south american drug operations backing numerous drug lords in a wierd attempt to subvert communism (Escobar anybody)!!!

The truth is that America sins more than most, has the worlds biggest porn industry as well as the biggest porn audience.
It has the worlds worst crime rates, has a worse AIDS problem than Africa.
How can this be gods garden!
