American Freedom : Project IRAQ
Dear Friends,
there are some whiny liberals out there still criticizing the war in Iraq! They still don’t see how much good America is doing in Iraq. Howard Dean is now claiming that the US can not win the war and John Kerry actually accuses our dear soldiers of being terrorists themselves! Both are hurting the moral of the troops badly and both are undermining the war on terror and basically verbally fight on the side of the terrorists.
Just to get the facts straight: We are winning the war against the terrorist killers! We are building schools, we are bringing them electricity, we are building streets and help them built churches, but most of all, we are bringing them freedom, liberty and justice! May I remind you of what the justice system in Iraq was before? Please read the article: “Get to know your enemy: ISLAM” for more info about this. And now take a look at the new constitution of Iraq. Examples as follow:
CHAPTER ONE – FUNDAMENTAL PRINCIPLES
Article 1.
(B) Gender-specific language shall apply equally to male and female.
Article 14.
The individual has the right to security, education, health care, and social security. The Iraqi State and its governmental units, including the federal government, the regions, governorates, municipalities, and local administrations, within the limits of their resources and with due regard to other vital needs, shall strive to provide prosperity and employment opportunities to the people.Article 15.
(A) No civil law shall have retroactive effect unless the law so stipulates. There shall be neither a crime, nor punishment, except by law in effect at the time the crime is committed.(B) Police, investigators, or other governmental authorities may not violate the sanctity of private residences, whether these authorities belong to the federal or regional governments, governorates, municipalities, or local administrations, unless a judge or investigating magistrate has issued a search warrant in accordance with applicable law on the basis of information provided by a sworn individual who knew that bearing false witness would render him liable to punishment. Extreme exigent circumstances, as determined by a court of competent jurisdiction, may justify a warrantless search, but such exigencies shall be narrowly construed. In the event that a warrantless search is carried out in the absence of an extreme exigent circumstance, the evidence so seized, and any other evidence found derivatively from such search, shall be inadmissible in connection with a criminal charge, unless the court determines that the person who carried out the warrantless search believed reasonably and in good faith that the search was in accordance with the law.
(C) No one may be unlawfully arrested or detained, and no one may be detained by reason of political or religious beliefs.
(D) All persons shall be guaranteed the right to a fair and public hearing by an independent and impartial tribunal, regardless of whether the proceeding is civil or criminal. Notice of the proceeding and its legal basis must be provided to the accused without delay.
(E) The accused is innocent until proven guilty pursuant to law, and he likewise has the right to engage independent and competent counsel, to remain silent in response to questions addressed to him with no compulsion to testify for any reason, to participate in preparing his defense, and to summon and examine witnesses or to ask the judge to do so. At the time a person is arrested, he must be notified of these rights.
So, you tell me: Is Iraq better off now or not? If you are a hardcore liberal you will deny that the Iraqis are better off now only because of your own political gain! That is tragic and proves once more that liberals/democ-rats are just and only concerned with their own political agenda! For that and only for that reason liberals also claiming that there are abuses and even torture in prisons in Iraq, Afghanistan and Guantanamo Bay. That is false and a cruel and dirty lies! Our soldiers are acting according the highest standards and moral: The AMERICAN WAY!
60 years ago we invaded Germany and helped them to overcome the nazi plague and now Germany is a stable and free country (although they could be a better friend – see article “Europe: Friends or Foe“, but that’s another story). Now we are doing the same in Iraq, bringing them the great American way of life. That is the best thing ever happened to Iraq. God bless America, god bless our great, loving and compassionate soldiers fighting for freedom and democracy for everybody on this World!

Why do you question the US-Government but not your own sources for information?
Did you ever think about that the European governments had reasons to deny that Iraq was a threat? They denied it, because they did not want to lose money and soldiers in this war. President Bush said recently that he got false informations from the CIA. So its also possible that there have never been WWD`s in Iraq.

Absolutely! Even in our darkest hour of the 2nd world war was never this bad. Japan for example would never have resorted to suicide attacks. Hitler did not have weapons of mass destruction. What I am trying to say is that we are facing unprecedented danger.
I am personally sickend that the house refused to pass the patriot act. What the hell kind of liberal dope were they smoking… dont they know we are at war and in a warzone (which unfortunately is what the USA has become) we have to give up some civil liberties.
Some buddies of mine work for the Air-Force, and althaugh they cannot talk in detail, they tell me that the powers of the patriot act have saved literlay millions of american lives. If only we were allowed to know about it, every American would be clamouring for a permanent Patriot Act.
If we divided the number of people who the patriot act saved by the number of congress-people who voted against it thats how many murders each of those evil democratic congress people could have been guilty of.
Now I know our president is a praying man. God told him what to do in Iraq – and now look at how much better it is for the average Iraqui. They have never had so much freedom in Iraq. The Iraqis love having our soldiers on their streets because they know we are fighting Al-Queda on their behalf.

You say that the Iraqis have never had so much freedom. There is death and destruction every day over there under our hand. We have killed over 100,000 innocents in Bush’s quest. A great many of the women and little children killed by our hand. Iraqi men carrying little mangled bodies of their children out of the rubble of their homes that WE bombed. And we wonder why there is an insurgency. Any loving parent would have a seething resentment at anyone who did that to their child. 100,000 dead and counting. How can you justify this? Killing innocents is a godless act. But that is ok with you because you believe that Bush is a praying man and the little voices in his head told him what to do. If God was behind this we would have already achieved victory. We haven’t achieved victory. Every day more and more of our young men and women die, and countless more innocents die. Hey I see in their constitution the Iraqi government has to provide their people with free healthcare. It’s amazing every western country but ours has free health care and even our tax dollars go to Iraqis so they can have free healthcare. Shelley, you want more personal responsibility. I have a question. How can the working poor afford to buy health insurance? It takes every penny they make to put food on their tables and keep shelter over their heads. If they get sick it is a financial catastrophe. Either they accrue a debt that they can’t pay or they die. Our system is a mess. My daughter is a nurse and she sees all to often what happens under our current medical system. People cannot afford preventative care, and they let simple health issues go until their conditions are critical. We need to have a system where all people can get the preventative care that they need so the high cost of treating them after they become critical can be avoided. It makes good economic sense in the long run.

The popular TV series called C.O.P.S. was on our TV (in Finland) few years ago. On every episode i spotted several gay american police officers as over 3/4 of them had HUGE mustaches.
I am truly sorry for you, it must be very hard for a smart human being like you to be protected and served by gay people with huge mustaches.
2 Problems with the war in iraq.
1. Congress voted to give Bush the budget, but did not actually make a declaration of war. Thus, Bush went to war without proper authorization.
2. Preemptive warfare is the reason why Hitler invaded poland. That makes for a very slippery slope.
The primary concern I have with Bush is that he is not upholding the constitution. If he were, he would not have gone to war without a formal declaration. I know he didn’t because I heard a Republican representitive speak. He was the person who put forward an ammendment to the war funding bill that would have made it a proper declaration of war as well. It was voted down (no declaration of war).
Second, his policy on no child left behind is not constitutional. Under Article I. Section 8. of the constitution a very specific list of responsibilities is given to congress. A department of education is not listed among them. The 10th ammendment states that any powers not specificly given to the federal government in the constitution are reserved to the states or to the people. If he were upholding the constitution in his oath of office he would be removing the federal department of education. Not asking congress to pass no child left behind.

PS: I was a republican, but what I really am is a Constituionalist. It is not outdated and would work if we used it as designed.
