If God belonged in our government, I think He would have been mentioned in the Constitution. If you want to live in a theocracy, go to Afghanistan and live with what’s left of the Taliban.
No, angry patriot! I want to live in a good christian nation! And with the help of god and George W. Bush we can do it! There is no religious freedom in Afganistan. They beat women in the streets, they pratice murder and rape. America is different. We stand for Freedom and Democracy!
The last time religion controlled politics in America, people got burned at the stake.
I too am a Christian, however I want a secular government that will allow me to practice my Christianity in freedom without worrying about the current government’s input. Many people claim they want to live in a christian controlled government. However, they want it to be their version of Christianity. So, if you’re a baptist and it’s a Catholic President… that wouldn’t work I bet. Or what about a Morman?
Many people also claim that this country based on christian beliefs, however that statemant is not true and is rather un-American in it’s concept. This country was formed by people who wanted the FREEDOM to practice their religion, who happened to be Christians.
So, think before you speak.
Last time I looked there was NOTHING in the constitution that says God needs to be kept out of government. That is just one of thos liberal lies like Evolution, Gun-Control and Lesbianism.
GW Bush is the first President honest enough to say that he has a relationship with God, and for that I thank him. No man who has the courage to bear witness to his faith should be doubted.

Thats just madness – there is only one sort of Christian in the world, and thats the bible-believing sort. If you read your scriptures and you know Jesus then you are saved. I couldnt care for the rest.

Do you think that God choses our presidents Tristan? If you do then He chose Bill Clinton didn’t he? And you guys wanted to impeach him when he was chosen by God? Good grief your statements are so lame.
